I thought both Kelly and Hartigan have got much better as the year has progressed.

Hartigan aside from one brain fart had a great game against Freo. One of his best.

I'm not usually a big Kelly fan but I think he's been decent this year. I think most people are ok with having either him or Hartigan in the side but having both really hurts our ability to attack from the back. I tend to agree and think we should just be playing which ever one we need as per team match ups though I do think Jakes been solid this year, looked more like 2017 Jake than 2018.

It is one of the reasons you can leave yourself open when failing to actually read what people have posted before criticising them.

Where did your source the data from, Unless you did the calculations yourself, in which case you would have added Keath,
but it seems it's Champion data 2019 best defenders and they source the last 40 games. for points to get their ratings.

Was actually stated that those parts of his game that needed work could be addressed at training.

I don't get those selections at all, and what we're trying to achieve with them, but I can't be angry at them because we kept Mackay out of the lineup.

That said, I can't say I'm a fan of dropping Jones at all.

Jones a little unlucky and Harto/Gooch a little lucky but can't really complain. No DMac, Douglas or Sauce...... unbelievable

I'd guess that Jones has more issues to work on than Gibbs...

JJ had to play, Lynch was a late out and Gibbs for Jones is fine.

All of the coaches have said at the pressers the last few weeks that training would be taken into consideration at selection

Well yeah. It's just putting more effort in, not something you need SANFL game time to do.
