From a Melbourne point view, the only certainty so far to return is Salem who's actually been one of our rare players who has improved. Having a very nice season.
Mitch Hannan has boarded the flight off 1 VFL game so he won't contribute much if selected.
Hibberd's the other quality player who may be back. I know someone above mentioned he's having a rubbish season, but did get coaches votes V's Hawks (rd 7) and then followed up with a good first half V's GC before hurting his collarbone.
Weideman may be an in but he takes about 2 marks a game and 1 goal if he's lucky so he won't be an issue for you blokes.

Let's be honest fellas, if you can't beat Melbourne who almost have the worst percentage in the league.....
I do believe a North Melbourne supporter came onto our pre game thread before we played them a few weeks back and said much the same thing that you have..

That worked out real well for us didnt it?

I have to say I've lost my trust for the team, every game now we play is 50/50 at best there is not a single game for the rest of the season you could 'write in the book as a win' not even against bloody Carlton.

Soooo Melbs to get a swag of players back this week.

Well of course.

"The Demons should be boosted by a swag of returning players, including Michael Hibberd, Christian Salem, Steven May, Alex Neal-Bullen, Kade Kolodjashnij and Sam Weideman, which will help their cause enormously."
Don't forget that they'll be up for an emotional win after the tragic passing of Brad Green's wife
Remember when they ambushed us after Hogan emotionally revealed his cancer battle to them pre-match. Dees can get up for this sort of tragedy

If Matt Crouch misses again that will go from expected to play after the port game to missing 3 weeks !

You obviously don't play Supercoach or Dream Team. Brayshaw can't get 30 disposals in 3 games combined.
Because the peanuts in charge of Melbourne are pushing Brayshaw to a flank so we can accommodate an over the hill Nathan Jones back into the centre as he can't play anywhere else.

Way to make effective use of your assets

Did many of their current players even play with Green?

Strange move then to trade our Pick 19 [Liam Stocker] if we seriously were into McLennan who is NOT a key back but a slowish medium defender, a role we have plenty of cover for.

McLennan DOES NOT replace Talia or Hartigan's roles even in your wildest dreams.

Even if you were seriously into McLennan, you'd be very stupid to turn down pick 1 when offered, especially considering how little we paid for it.
