What you are saying here before you receive the cheap shot, is that he wouldnt get into the squad only based on R5-R10?

Correct ?
So you can’t admit that’s he’s the 5th ranked player over R5-10. Desperately clinging to some other measure.

You are genuinely pathetic

Two times I have been tagged... 8 years of pent up emotion coming out....

Not sure what the big news is.... Mackay misses last week due to illness and isn't rushed straight back in to play in Darwin....

I haven't seen this much desperation since Arrow discussed the pick swap.
But doesn’t a best 22 player walk back in after one week with an illness? He didn’t have an injury

You are a very sad and bitter old man to be continuing here when I am not even quoting you or referring to you.
Maybe trying posting without the personal hostility and calm the f**k down.

We played since r5-10, Suns, Saints, Freo, Port, Lions and Eagles.

No one here is refuting that he had poor games against Freo and the Eagles.

So that leaves 4 games in which he achieved his 5th ranking, Suns 17th, Saints 16th, Freo 14th, Lions 15th and Port 10th. They are all the teams that failed to make the 8 last year and more thank likely it will be the same this year, with the exception of possibly the Lions. His game against the Lions he missed several simple set shots in front of goal and dropped a simple mark deep in the last quarter, a game we lost by 1pt.

You really have deep rooted problems. All I have suggested is that he generally struggles against top teams in the AFL and the Club should explore solutions or alternatives. I think his best is passed him. He will do well against poorer teams.

He will do well tonight, the Demons are decimated with injuries.

In his previous games against the Hawks have kept him goalless in 2 games, Cats kept him to 1 goal in 2 games, 1 goal in 1 game against the Giants and Tigers. On Sunday he was kept goalless against the Eagles. Thats 5 finals sides from 2018 that kept him to a goal or less. You wont win games in September with that output. Can you even refute this? Hell I didnt rate the Swans earlier this year another Top 8 2019 Finals team and they kept Tex down to just 1 goal as well. Thats 6 games against the Top 8 teams of 2018.

If you cannot see this simple observation, then I am done. Lets move on. Take care champ, I hope you get better soon.

What?

Where has that measure come from?

Another bizarre re setting of the goal posts to avoid admitting he’s been in good form lol
You are claiming he has been in the top 5 forwards, which by definition would make him All Australian.

I'm saying you are wrong, because he wouldn't even be in contention for the squad.

Still here mate.... After 8 years of being wrong on Mackay - maybe the tide is turning this year.
But I’ve been right and this proves it. Starts well, gets dropped before the bye. How many years now has that been? A quality 200 game player doesn’t get dropped annually, I’d be embarrassed hitching my wagon to such an average player.

+1

To be in All Australian contention you have to perform consistently.

Im not sure scoring 1 goal or less in your past 6/10 games and having a similar statistical output to Jenkins in your first 4 games of the year, would mean Tex would make the squad.

No now don’t tell lies to suit your rubbish.

Firstly I’m not claiming anything, I’m referencing CD who rank him as 5th amongst forwards for R5-10.

AA is plainly irrelevant as it’s a selection based across a season.

The point you’re trying to make is nugatory.

You were the one who brought up the top 5 to warrant his form... not me.

AA is far more relevant than champion data stats. How many undeserving AA players have their been?

Haha - that’s a lot of writing to cover up you can’t admit a single fact.

Let’s deal in facts he says - then you ignore the simplest of facts. Going back to 2018 again? Let’s go through your litany of stupidity again:

1. Deserves to be dropped on form
2. Form in the last month doesn’t count because of the poor opposition
3. Brisbane doesn’t count as quality opposition because they aren’t big bodied
4. Brisbane Freo etc also don’t count because of where they finished in 2018
5. R5-10 form isnt enough as it doesn’t qualify as AA.

See how stupid that looks?

Well, I agree that’s it I’m done. In my entire time on this board - you have made the most absurd and ridiculous arguments I’ve ever seen. Congratulations.

He got smashed last week, and was smashed by Pearce against Freo. That leaves 3 games in which he played well.

If he was ranked top 5 it probably tells you more about the rankings.

And no I don't hate Tex, far from it.

Kane your telling lies again

All I said was 5th for R5-10
Which would make him in AA contention, which he clearly isn't!

Peter J is not well mate.

I dont hate Tex either. Ive never had a go at him since really this week and it wasnt on the back off 1 game either. I reflected on his last 18 games.

I actually think Tex will do well tonight.

Dees are shit, won’t count.

Dont tell Peter J he may have a stroke.

Im so looking forward to Tex proving me wrong against the Giants, Tigers and Cats. If he dominates and kicks straight against these sides, his captains effort will ensure a win.

Smashed by who?
We already disproved that and showed he was better than his opponent.

Grotto, mate lay off making comments about the health of Peter J, dont think its warranted to do that to anyone.

Champ maybe lay off the comments on me, if you have not read the comments he made about me to begin with then dont comment.

If you have it makes you a hypocrit.
