I would keep Burgoyne in, like what I've seen from him. Obviously if Bonner is available that becomes harder to do but find a way to do it.

As much as it pains to say , out Burgoyn and Mead and in Duursma and Bonner . Not that I don’t rate mini Meade and baby Burgs they’re still learning and the more games they get the better but they’re still developing and it’s a big game .

Both of Burgoyne's games at AFL level so far have been better than anything that Duursma has shown this year.

Bonner for Mead should be the only change. Houston and Bonner can both spend a bit more time up the ground.

Hayes was the best ruck in the SANFL last year. He's had his confidence progressively beaten down by our coaching panel all year and then told he's behind a dinosaur that has consistently let us down in big games and a beanpole that has been on the list for 5 minutes that wasn't good enough to get drafted last year.

The makeshift ruck combination worked OK against GWS so I suspect Ken will probably go with them again and hope that they can negate Gawn and Jackson. I would be telling big Charlie to go with Gawn and not let him take uncontested marks like he did when Lycett went down the last time we met.

As for changes it will depend upon who is available. If Bonner is available he comes in for Mead. I reckon we should stick with Jase Burgoyne as a bit more AFL experience should set him up nicely for next year. I cannot see that Jase will get much from playing in the rabble that is the Port Magpies atm. Maybe McKenzie comes in for Clurey, the two are line ball.
