These guys smashed us last year, particularly in the middle. Their team will be very similar to last year with their injuries back. Davey may be struggling with an ankle so that would be a big bonus as havent got too many to go with him. McLean is another gun who we will need to shut down - Burnsy is the man for that. We need Jimmy back to release Shaw if he is fit. Big danger game but don't think Bucks will be risked for it.

Sorry for butting in but I have a mate that plays for willy seconds and I watched the Sandringham Willy match .. Wasn't Stanley B.O.G. playing on robbo .. The way MM picks his team horses for courses and Stanley deserving of a spot .. I wouldnt be suprised if Stanley came in and just so happened to line up on robertson .. silly risk .. maybe not (p.s. Im a pies supporter I use my mates user name coz I got banned from big footy a long time ago n have never been able to get back on)

i wouldnt think bucks will play til after the break its not worth the risk seeing i think one more hammy and it would be it for him.

Don't read into last wk's win v Adelaide. They are NOT the real deal. We just might be. I expect Melbourne to get flogged this round. Last week's win took everything out of them.

You may be right, but I hardly think a win against a top 4 side in a non-physical game would have taken everything out of them. If anything it will galvanise the club. Melbourne played some damn good footy last week at times.

Remember we don't resemble the injury riddled rabble of earlier in the season.

The returns of Neitz, Robbo and McLean have seen this club play far more competetive football.

You'll be favourites to win, but to expect a flogging is a bit rich.

I agree. Your form over the last month has be pretty good (definately building in the right direction). This game will be huge for both I think. A win for Melb. and thats two in a row (against top 8 teams). A win for us and we go 8/3 and a reasonable draw in the back half of the season.

Chris Bryan would be better suited to Jeff White than Guy Richards would.

I want to see Brad Dick get another chance sooner rather than later, heard he was very good at the weekend and has an x-factor, but who do you drop? Leon's in career-best form and Didak is a great player.

If Clement's ready play him, and we need him to shut down Robertson like he usually does. However, if for whatever reason he is still feeling sore we have the break coming up so he should be back for the Sydney clash.

O'Brien will play on Robertson. Stanley may play but not on Robbo. With AFL standard delivery I think it would be much harder for Stanners to PLay on Robbo, than it would playing in the VFL.

I like the kid think he is going to be a great tagger for us in time, and he is a fantastic guy to talk to very approachable, level headed, not arrogant, but i would like to see Stanley get a go and he was the only player that stood out on the bench to be dropped for stanners to me.

If he plays i will still be happy because i know he will do his job evry week.

Apart from a few i think you'll find most like Tooves just think he needs a rest.

Toovey has probably been a bit quiet of late even though he works hard to get to contests. We're not saying he is a definite out either. It's Licca - he collected 27 possessions and kicked 2 goals for Williamstown last week and everyone knows he is in our best 22. So Toovey has to make way for him.

Bit risky taking our no 1 goalkicker and making him a tagger. Let him do what he does best, if Davey really carves em up they can always drop Burns or Thomas back for a rest. Davey is off an injury so would expect him to spend time on bench and tire late, so if they can hold him early should be right.

I'd really like to see Stanley in for Toovey. Toovey has done some great running, and will likely be a good player for us down the track. He's reminding me more and more of Ben Johnson (or Craig Johnstone ) the way he moves and kicks. But he's only getting 6 or 7 possessions per week, and his opponents are still doing alright.

We ought to reward Stanley for 3 games in a row in the best for Willi.

Actually Davey thrashed Heath Shaw last year, Davis played up forward.
I would have thought Rhyce Shaw will take Davey, Shaw is good defensively and has decent pace.
