Melbourne will be the perfect game for all things to be covered up and swept under the carpet.

They are THAT bad that even we cannot lose to them. Even Jimmys appointment during the week wont spark them.

If Pettifer and Bowden play they will do well. Pettifer will kick 3 plus and will keep his place in the side for the rest of the year whilst Bowden wont have Robertson out there to man bitch him. If Tivendale plays he will get himself another year contract.

Next week will be an unsatisfying 40 point win which will have everything presented as being rosy with elements that we need to get out of the club being embraced back in. Couldnt think of a margin next week that would make the win satisfying.

I do. Equal most tackles for us yesterday. He is a good player, despite being very flawed. People just look for an excuse to drop him. However I would love to see Cleve and Jack in the same team, in the forward 50 together. Has it ever happened?

We need to see what they can do together. With Richo either having a rest of playing on the wing and sneaking forward, but not getting in the way of Cleve and Jack. Knowing Richo though, he wont want that.

But I reckon Cleve and Jack in the 50 would be fantastic. Kicked 9 between them and apparently they work really well together, know each other's game and space.

Thurstfield: Injured
Pettifer: Did shit all yesterday and kept wasting it when going foward
Tivendale: Made a plethora of mistakes. Won't play for the RFC again
McMuffin: I have had enough. He probably won't be dropped because Terry would have to admit what a blunder the trade was, but is playng wthout confidence and turns it over way too much. Way to unaccoutable aswell

Also in the mix to be dropped would be Polak after not doing too much (esspecially with Hughes AND Jack kicking 9 between them), Edwards as he really needs more of a run in the middle at Coburg and perhapes White although he was pretty good last week. Richo and/or Simmonds might also be rested.

IN:
Polo: Give him a run on the ball or give him a run with job on Green. He has been solid for Coburg and has done enough for a call up imo.
JON: Lets see how much he has improved. Terry said he was going to play dreamtime if he didn't get injured and his form in the Burgers has been solid. He should play in McMohan's position whilst also adding a 3rd tall option with Thursty out
Morton: He should never have been dropped in the first place. Didn't kick any goals for Coburg today but was still pretty good i hear. To come in for Pettifer and/or Edwards as another small foward option
Jack/Hughes: Kicked 9 between them today. Hughes was good early but faded while Jack was pretty consitant from all reports. If Polak gets dropped/richo rested they both may come in.

I would imagine Conners, Jackson, and Collins would also be in the mix. Rance still needs more development at Coburg despite him being in the best today, while Gus may come in if Simmo is rested

No, I didn't go to the game.

Oh no doubt he asked Joel to stand 20 metres off his men at every stage and let the opponent get heaps of marks and goal attempts.

The reason I bag him is because he is no longer a good player, you didn't go to the game, you didn't see the pitiful attempts he made when playing, the guy doesn't give 100% for the club, if a player is picked, they need to give every thing they can, I don't think I have once seen Joel Bowden out of breath because he has run to hard, look at Daniel Kerr, every time he comes off the ground he is holding his hips and gasping for air, Joel wouldn't even muster up a sweat let alone have to gasp for air.

IMO we need to keep Edwards, too many have him in their outs, we need as many kids as possible, at least having kids in can give us a reason for a loss, he isn't playing to badly and is doing some good things, if we are to keep Bowden, and to a lesser extent(Not just replying to you RT) Pettifer and Tivendale in our team then it starts to look really bad, as it did yesterday.

Our average age against Fremantle(The match where we started to turn it around) was 24yr 2 months, our average age yesterday was 24yr 7mths, basically that means an average of 5 months more per player, that is huge, the problem was too that Bowden, Tivendale and Pettifer were in our Worsts, when they should be in our bests.

Silvester is a rookie and we have nobody to put on the LTI, plus he has shown in the insipid NAB cup performance that he is a good VFL player, but not up to AFL standard.

At the moment Edwards is being played out of position, he is getting played up forward alot and needs to be put in the midfield more, yesterday all of our forwards were poor when not up the ground, simply because the delivery was shocking, that being said Edwards is a better forward than Pettifer simply because he does more, 1%ers will play for the team, can take a mark and can do the freakish things.

I agree his form has been less than great, but there is no way he should be out before Pettifer.
