We need the third tall, if he doesn't play our structures are out. Who are you going to replace him with?
I'll do it. I will probably offer a bit more to the team.

North will be pretty fired up, though they are still without Dal Santo, perhaps Wells also (when is that speedy midget due back anyway?). I think we are a fair chance of winning, if we have played like we have the past few weeks.
Feel very confident coming into this game especially with Yeo back.

Yeo is back win in the bag already. Touch wood.

Absolute liability. Can't mark and offers next to no forward pressure. Sinclair is streets ahead, and that's saying something.
I think you are being a bit over the top here.

I'd say, barely serviceable.

What's the worse thing we get out of playing him whilst Darling is injured?

- Goes back to the WAFL and realises how much he wants to get back into the seniors again
- Becomes adequate backup in case of another injury
- At year End other clubs come sniffing and they offer us a late second rounder or a 3rd rounder. Pie in the sky stuff but you never know what another desperate team could offer.

Think he has a bad habit of just booting it long sometimes and not lowering the eyes.
Was at the game and loved seeing Hurn instruct Nelson on positioning in the last quarter. He is learning very well and holding down nicely a spot in defence.

In- Ellis, Yeo, Sheed
Out- Nelson, Colledge, Bennel

Not sure what your issue with Nelson was to justify dropping him. I would personally prefer him to Bennell in defence.

The backline is clicking well. Schofield got out-muscled today but so do a lot of full backs against Hawkins.

Bombing it long not lowering eyes. I really like Nelson though don't get me wrong and i wont be mad at all to see him in the team next week.

Out: Colledge, Bennell
In: Yeo, Barrass

B: Barrass, Schofield, Butler
HB: Hurn, McGovern, Wellingham
C: Gaff, Priddis, Masten
HF: LeCras, McInnes, Cripps
F: Hill, Kennedy, Sinclair
R: Naitanui, Shuey, Yeo
I: Sheppard, Nelson, Selwood
S: Duggan
E: Lycett, Bennell, Colledge

Barrass in to help combat the Roos' tall forwards (Petrie/Waite/Brown), otherwise Simpson might be tempted to put Yeo back.

Duggan to have a semi-rest in the sub jacket, took a couple of big knocks today.

Don't be surprised if Schofield and Wellingham are walking some laps on Monday. Both were crunched in a contest and got up limping quiet noticeably.
If they persist, not sure what to think.

Purely based on form, Yeo has to come back as does Sheed (assuming fully fit).
I would like to see Colledge given another week as he was great with his pressure and tackling when he came on.

Yeah. He reminds me of Sheppard with those dashes through the middle followed by those long kicks, which where often indiscriminate. He'll learn like Sheppard did.

Exactly what im referring to. Should be easy to coach out of his game.

Mcinnes was average but the two weeks prior he was very good. There's nobody to replace him with. It's awesome winning games but yo have to feel for players who are good enough to play AFL not getting games. Soon We'll have Darling, Rosa, Ellis, Colledge wanting to play and fighting for spots.

This week I'd bring Yeo back for Colledge maybe, unless one of the two young guys needs a rest or Duggan has any symptons from the head clash.

McInnes looks out of sorts when going for an overhead marking contest. Having played a lot as a forward and going for the marks, he is not even close to knowing where to stand and how to approach. The slightest fart from an opponent looks to put him off. Has he always been like that or am I seeing things out of context? Would like to hear from others who have seen him play more games.

Definitely reminds me of Ash Hansen in that he's a running, leading player, not contested. Sometimes when there's no movement there's an obvious ploy to go long and try get it out of bounds in the marking contest which he fails to do a lot, got clean bowled by a few short kicks but I don't think anyone can replace him until Darling is back, his last two weeks were good.

I'll say one thing for Frase though, and it's that he makes a contest. Brings the ball to ground where our mids and small forwards are there to either lock the ball in or take a snap. Ash Hansen isn't a terrible comparison, although haven't seen him take many set shots yet. He also hasn't shown as much as Hansen did, despite the hamstrings.
