Out: Sandilands, Sheridan, Crozier
In: Taberner, Nyhuis, Blakely

B: Spurr - Hamling - Hughes
HB: Weller - Johnson - Nyhuis
C: B.Hill - Blakely - Tucker
HF: Walters - McCarthy - Grey
F: Fyfe - Taberner - Ballas
Fol: Darcy - Neale - Mundy
Int: Cox - Logue - Ryan - Suban

McCarthy stays in on the hope that he'll perform better when moved to the number 2 forward (maybe even third with Cox performing well). However he may cop a suspension on that tackle on Gilbert. In which case Kersten would be a likely in.

Taberner needs to come in. If nothing more then to match up on the opponents best defender. Take some of the pressure off the other forwards. Would also help in the ruck situation with Sandilands out. Cox has been doing a decent job contesting, but Tabs would probably be better. Just due to height if anything.

I would also like Cox to move back and Logue to move forward. Logue needs to play with a clear target in mind as he is often put under pressure by his indecision. Putting him in front of goals may make him come to a decision more quickly when he has the ball in hand. Cox is also apparently better in defence which would be great to see.

Nyhuis to play a lockdown roll on Lindsey Thomas. Hate Thomas with a passion.

I am happy for Cox to stay forward. He has played there as a youngster and is developing well.

I think playing on someone like Reiwoldt is excellent for Logue's development.

We have another youngster who is dominating at Peel in Sam Collins. Shouldn't he be rewarded for his effort and form?

Dominating your favourite word? :rolleyes:Every player on your xmas card list is dominating. :)

PS Collins is a long way off the youngster stage.;)

We won't delist him because we've got about 8 other players to delist first and you only get 4 draft picks. No point delisting him for the sake of it. Only delist players if you need the space on your list to bring in others.

He might be shit but he's flexible and not too old, I don't think we'll delist him for those reasons.

We agree on something.:)

I've given up , Crozier will play 350 games and his amazing X factor will be talked about for the next 100 years.:)
I though this rebuild is going smoothly now , not perfect but is getting there . MJ need to be managed with final most probably gone . Don't see the harm in putting Collins in to build chemistry with the backline while A.pearce is recovering. Again I am not convinced about Collins AFL ability but if freo choose to keep him ( depth or whatever) might as well involve him a bit in freo defence structure.

Can't see how McCarthy escapes suspension. Knocks a guy out cold with a tackle. The outcome/injury is what the MRP look at. He'll get 1-2 weeks.

Whoever ends up being our Number 1 forward will have a hard day at the office. Tarrant has been great for North this year.

Marley Williams also in good form shutting down the better smalls.
Yeah we have to bring in Tabs as he will at least keep Tarrant honest. Tarrant would smash Cam on current form, not good for his confidence.

There's only 7 games left for 2017. Players should only get games if they will be on the list next year. Are you willing to extend him???
Would love to trade him at seasons end but only giving games to players that are guarenteed spots on next years list is folly. Under that thinking Pav doesn't get a game last year, we probably stop playing Balic this year, and if Darcy now gets injured we go in a ruckman short because you wouldnt give griffin a game.

If the club took a stance like that it would have a horrible impact on the morale of the players. If Suban gets dropped after meeting the requirements of the coaches and after making such a positive impact on the game than that would pass on a terrible message to the players. A lot of whom we are attempting to resign.

While I don't rate Suban (and I thought that he was lucky to be getting a game this week anyway) there is no reason to drop him for next week. Sheridan and logue should go before him

Being suspended is probably not a bad outcome for McCarthy. Needs a few weeks at Peel to find some touch and confidence.
While I'm absolutely certain he will make it as an AFL footballer I'm not sure being in the spotlight is the best thing for players horribly out of form.
Hughes is a great example of going back a level a couple of times and coming back in much better shape.
Not sure I'd change much, going to be tough if Langdon, DeLuca, Hill are all right to go.
Balic should be available and dare we say the Bennell might come up at match committee?

Bennell won't come up at all before playing a couple of weeks at Peel.

If it was me, he'd play no more than a half with Peel this week

8 games left of the season. We've played almost everyone capable of playing. Hopefully we can get Nyhuis into the squad for a handful of games to see what he can offer at the top level.

Will be great if we can get Bennell into the team for the last 5-6 games.
