They look for two actions, they will probably count not letting him go as they went to ground as the second action.

I doubt he will get any time.
If you watch the video of the tackle process they cross another docker player who pushes Gilbert on the way past. Any chance of McCarthy controlling the tackle was lost there.
Definitely not a sling tackle.

True, but looking at the vid it also looks like Cam tackled him after he got rid of the ball. It wasn't two actions, but it could still land him a week or two.

I think Cam commits to the tackle and blindsides himself, by going low to tackle, doesn't see the handball.

At full pace it's pretty quick.

I saw two actions. You can see at the start they are both falling with momentum but at the last moment Cam drives him somewhat into the ground.

Don't think it's bad enough for a suspension though.

Interesting what Pav said pre game re Lyon,selection,game plan and leadership group.
Reckons Lyon would have put the decisions re Connor and Hodor playing squarely on the leadership group's agenda.
Lyon had said that for team balance Hodor needed to be dropped, but for integrity of selection he couldn't be.Pav reckons it's the leadership group who get fed many of these selection and game plan conundrums to come up with a solution.
Bit of insight and yet another testimony to the respect players maintain for Lyon's insight and style.
Be interesting to see if Tabs gets a guernsey this week.
There's a lot of fire in the playing group at the minute and if that was to rub off on Tabs it could only be a good thing

That was one of Spurr's best games for the year. Aside from the shitty inside 50 to start the game, I thought he was great.

A lot of people forgetting that Blakely will probably be an in.

Deluca as well who only missed this week with an ankle after a very good debut last week. It's possible he'll have to go back to WAFL just through bad luck, but he deserves to play more than anyone.
