Spencil has been ok in the ruck I guess, but rubbish around the ground. Still wish there was footage of him dropping the ball in the run-up for a set shot, my god that must've been hilarious!

I think it is understandable we hope to belt the living suitcase out of you, that's natural however we are also aware that you beat Essendon who play similar to us. I think you're the number 1 tackling team over the last 8 weeks, so pressuring ball carrying teams like Essendon and us suits your game style at the minute.

Most supporters have false bravado when it comes to predicting results on here but I have no doubt that if we come in not 100% turned on then it could be a close game regardless of your injury situation.

Melbourne have the lock-down players around the middle and the talls in defence to blunt our attack.

Jones, McKenzie and Moloney can all get their share of contested ball, and Garland and Frawley can stifle Norths forwards. We are also coming off a very tough game last week.

I don't expect North to lose either, but I don't think we will be seeing any 10+ goal thumping's.

They happen so easily in modern football though that it is impossible to predict. We could play an honest game and be in touch for most of it only for the last 15 minutes to be an avalanche and completely kill the score board (or we could get belted throughout). We don't like Etihad and that isn't good for a team that is learning boundary line tactics.

That's how I see it happening.

You jumped us at Etihad last year and it took us until the 3rd quarter to click in to gear and take the lead. I expect a similar match with Melbourne focusing on a more defensive set up. North to pull away in the last one and a half quarters and win by 37 points.
