You spelt supporters wrong.

Last week, it seemed that this was pretty much the best team selections all year.

The selectors will pretty much swap out an injured Lyons for Sloane (upgrade) and it's the worst week ever.

I understand people think Thommo should be rested but if it hasn't happened yet, it shouldn't surprise you.
Why does it say Lyons omitted?

That still doesn't convince me to say he should play against Fremantle. At least Adelaide righted the selection and brought him back in for the showdown.

So you say he shouldn't have played against Freo but also that we righted the selection and brought him back in against Port. Which one is it?

That's a statement based on hindsight. Grigg was unlucky but the selectors went for something else. Considering we didn't win hindsight tells me Grigg should have played. At the time though I didn't disagree with the team selected for fremantle though.

Not fair comparing Crouch to Wingard? What about Crouch to Neade?

Anyway it's great to hear from you again. Still have your pitchfork and torch Wood Duck.

Does the entire MOB have a group prescription for Prosac this year?
Lets compare Crouch after his second year at the very least.

AFC are also managing a player who had an attitude problem last year. They are going to keep him honest at the selection table so he doesn't fall back into old habits.
Oh please, Griggs attitude has been first class this year, ask Bass.

You mean you are guessing. Lyons played the week before and started the game. C'mon you can't hope to be taken seriously if you can't even acknowledge without Sloanes injury Grigg would not have played

Whats your point? so are you!

I have no idea. Some players are made subs you wouldn't ever think would be. depends on matchups etc. I am saying Adelaide seem keen to select Grigg so its not unreasonable to assume Lyons the man he replaced could have been in the gun.

You want more from a forward
yep ....want to see footy smarts ....forwards have to think their way thru various defensive actions

Want to see repeat leads.....not a single lead

Want to see ability for a tall to take a grab

Oooh going out on a limb there :p

Its interesting that your happy to slag off people here for being negative and reflective of the SA blah blah, yet you yourself are clearly so desperate for LJ and Lyons to fail that its really quite pathetic.

Oh well if your lucky LJ wont score this week and then you can get on here straight away and gloat like a child as you did when Lyons was dropped.

is that what you have read into my comments ....then that simply demonstrates my post earlier re the mentality in Adelaide .....feel sorry for you

The fair comparison is to compare the output the output of players in their first year and the opportunities they have been given. After 3 games a number of posters declared Crouch was overated, had poor disposal, yada, yada, yada..................

By the end of this season I predict that Brad Crouch will have the best stats of all the first year superstars this year (O'Meara, Viney, Wines, Whitfield etc)

Now lets compare the SANFL form of Neade, Colquhoun, Lyons and Grigg and the opportunities that they have been given by the Crows and the Power.

So you have worked out the difference between Wingard and Crouch?

:thumbsu:

Playing an average game shouldn't secure your place in the side.

It's not about deserving to be dropped, it's about whether there are better options outside of the team.

If you play an 8/10 game, but the guy in the SANFL who plays the same role is playing 10/10 games, then you don't deserve to be dropped, but you should be.
An 8/10 game in the AFL is 100x better than a 10/10 in the SANFL

A 5/10 is probably equivalent to a 10/10 in the sanfl

look, we can keep playing this game. But just remember back, Sloane out, Grigg in. Its you that is guessing it would have been Lyons out, Grigg in. I've got reality on my side.
