How new do you need to be to footy to not know about Goody and not caring much about the team sheet?

He cares to a degree, otherwise we wouldn’t see our actual defenders named in defence, Oliver in the midfield and JvR up forward. In fact every player named is in there standard position. But yeah, it means nothing, he just ran a randomiser over it and Chandler and Sparrow happen to land on the wings.

I didn't even realize we had posted the team sheet. I don't really care but I'm glad we are at least playing JVR and Jeffo together again. Not because they are amazing but just to see if there is anything, anything at all there to work with moving forward (hopefully post Goody).

Need them both in to play as many games with Melksham as possible in case he hangs them up this year. His leading at the ball carrier is the single most important thing both players can learn.

Look, I''ll try and be patient here - This is a really common thing with team sheets under Goodwin. There's is almost always a handful of players named in the positions they won't play. I don't know why they just do it with a few, but it happens most weeks. Because of that, there really is no point getting all outraged by the team sheet because if it's something you find crazy then quite likely it's not going to happen.

We will see, he has form playing plodders on the wing like Spargo, Chandler, Sparrow ect previously.

To me it feels like he is trying to just go mega defensive and put tackling machines on the wing as pure stoppers.
