As long as McGinnity is not a late in I am happy. The rest is mostly shuffling deck chairs. Hopefully Yeo can play full time in the mids, I don't care if we concede 100 billion points, would like to see some dynamic play in the centre.

So Colledge being emergency means he's basically just missing a game this week ? He won't be able to play WAFL from Brisbane
Thats stops him racking up stats and putting pressure on the match committee to play him

A cunning plan

Assume Cripps is a late out - what're the options?

McInnes frees Yeo to spend more time in the middle, and we push one of Masten/Wellingham forward?

Try Bennell out in that role perhaps?

Or are we going to get a Ginners late in job here?

Is it just me, or am I thinking that should McGovern play, we will play McInnes at CHF? Every man & his dog will be trying to work back to stop Kennedy kicking a back; having a decent tall target may straighten us up a bit and take a tall away. Hill can take a mark but really is a floating hf.

Brisbane even without Mayes have a decent midfield, so I don't see us giving our players a chance to redeem themselves. If we win the clearances this week, we have done well. They must be on very thin ice, you would have thought, though.

Congrats to McInnes on getting his 1st game. I hope he proves he was worth the wait. 4th debutant for us in 4 rounds!!

He didn't fly so he's free to rack up another 38 touches for Easts.

And McGinnity.

Seems that way. A few journos have tweeted that they definitely didn't see him at the airport.

Hope he flys over later or just ducked in before everyone i might cry if ginners is back in after just ousting him.

Gossage just tweeted that he'll have the reason for Cripps' no show in the sports bulletin.

So McInnes is in, McGinnity is out but in Brisbane, Cripps is still in but in Perth, Bennell is in Brisbane but not in, McGovern is in but may be out, and Colledge is not in

Because Brant would have saved us against Freo....

Read the reviews of his performances in the WAFL thread, numbers aren't everything.
Yes I read that thread. A lot of the same people complaining about our midfield, arguing that a guy killing it at WAFL isn't even worth a shot at AFL level. Maybe we should just play all forwards and backs until such time as we recruit midfielders big footy followers think have the worthy attributes.

*scratches head*

Sooo.... McInnes is in for Colledge and McGinnity is moving to Cripp's house in Brisbane to live with Benell after McGovern moves out? :drunk:

RE: Cripps, surely it's the contract extension as was discussed a few pages back? Definitely deserves 3 years, more than most of our other players at least!

Its just you................

Ben Roberts (WCE employee) tweeted that he had a tangle with a stingray this morning and is in the air now.

Says something about Cripps, our other players are dropping like flies because the ground is too hard and this man gets savaged by wildlife and just moves on and suits up for the next game. No wonder we gave him three more years.
