True, I forgot about Frost (even though I was advocating for him) not being named means we are a little bit closer to knowing
Nor Wagner or Keilty, who was being touted as a chance. I'd guess that whoever trains better out of Smith or Petty this week will get first go.

Even with a 26 man squad, our depth is so strong.

Not in there, and not injured, are T. Smith, Weid, Wagner, Tyson, Frost, Bugg, Balic, Baker, JKH, Johnstone, Keilty, King, Filipovic

Isn't that just the rest of our list?

I think the strength of our depth will be determined when half a dozen of those guys all need to play in the seniors together. Absence regularly enhances blokes reputations.

Fantastic - has won 9/14 I50 one on one contests this season.
Isn't the obvious question here - the poor quality of the opposition over the last few weeks flattering this stat.

So I've gone to AFL Stats site and found in a direct comparison of Coll and Melb. players he is ranked 36 on AFL fantasy and 22 on Ratings Points.

So I'm comfortable he is a manageable threat.

You will be interested to know in the same analysis:
TOP 3 by Rating points were Pendlebury, Treloar and Grundy
and COLL had 4 of the TOP 5 in AFL Fantasy Ratings.

So I'll leave you with that.

I hope Harrison gets a game. To name him and not play him seems a bit Petty.

The increase in quality of this thread was immediately noticeable once a certain someone was shown the door. Do we have mod of the year awards? Whoever booted that guy needs some kind of formal recognition.

Checking in

How ruddy good would it be if Pedersen plays and dobs like 8 goals cos the Pies defenders are too busy with McDonald and Hogan.

OMac will go forward.

Melbourne

B: Christian Salem, Oscar McDonald, Neville Jetta
HB: Angus Brayshaw, Michael Hibberd, Jordan Lewis
C: Bernie Vince, Jack Viney, Nathan Jones
HF: Bayley Fritsch, Tom McDonald, Clayton Oliver
F: Charlie Spargo, Jesse Hogan, Jake Melksham
Foll: Max Gawn, James Harmes, Christian Petracca
I/C (from): Billy Stretch, Mitch Hannan, Cameron Pedersen, Jayden Hunt, Alex Neal-Bullen, Harrison Petty, Jeff Garlett, Joel Smith

In: Stretch, Pedersen, Hunt, Petty, Garlett, J.Smith
Out: Lever (knee), T.Smith

Wahey, no Wagner and Smith omitted.
So it looks like Pedo for Smith and Either Smith or Petty for Lever. Unless we go small and play Hunt or Stretch and have Hibberd play Levers role. Is Cox there only tall forward? So maybe we don't bring in a tall defender this week?

Pedo looks likely doesn’t he? I’m pleased because I think he can perform well on Monday. He’s been very good VFL style for a fair few weeks now. Also I like him.

Cox will Cox I suspect. He will take some marks, but he won’t get a thing on the ground. We may as well skip multiple talls and let it be.

Apologies for the part I played in derailing the thread and adding fuel to the ridiculous fire. Too much time on my hands coupled with high levels of frustration were brought to a head in a way that I'm not overly proud of.

You’re a salami manufacturing dag
Might want to clarify, the board has no idea what you're talking about.

I don't want to start any rumors.

That just made it worse.
Okay I’ll put you out of your misery.

Hello board. Apparently Crimson makes salamis with his mates. I’m as surprised as you - I knew nothing about this before this afternoon. He has salami making appointments scheduled weeks in advance. This is virtually all the information I have available but I do know for a fact that chillies can play a part.

I think that will have people sleep a little more soundly.

This post meats my standards.

I think we have cured any lingering questions.

Nothing for certain but looks like we'll play the 3 tall forwards. I guess Pedersen rucks but wouldn't be shocked by T Mc doing it either, and Hogan probably has to play a bit more midfield time. Makes me also wonder if they'll give Garlett a reprieve if Hannan is sore.

Absolute no idea which way they'll go down back.

Still really 4 options as far as I see it.

Smith: The most similar to Lever, athletic to cover the ground and can use his leap in the air. Probably the safest choice to replace like with like
Hunt: Vince probably takes the 2nd tall and Hibberd moves in to the Lever role. Hunt provides the most on rebound.
Stretch on a wing, Harmes back: I don't mind this idea because Stretch can be sent to Phillips and then Harmes gives the backline grunt and run
Petty: the young fella the most likely genuine key defender, would presumably sent to keep it pretty simple playing on Mihocek at CHB.
