If ready to go, crammers straight back in
Same with Stringer

Dont think bonts will get up, not too sure who else makes way at this stage

Out: Boyd, Dale
In: Crameri, Stringer

Don't see the point in dropping Bontempelli, nobody knows the extent of the injury.

We should be playing to win, but debuting a kid like McLean would only be counterproductive to that task. At least wait until we play a bad side before we start giving first year players a go.

Hasn't really been Beveridge's strategy, though. Debuted Webb against the Hawks; Dale against the Dockers; and said to Hamling, "Congratulations on your debut, now let's talk about Cam McCarthy and Jeremy Cameron..."

That said, I don't think McLean is quite ready yet, either. Just interesting to see Beveridge's approach. His history with debutants does indicate that he may view this week as a good week to bring him in.

In: Stringer, Crameri, McLean

Out: Bontempelli, Dale, Jong

Ins: Jake Stringer, Stewart Crameri, Toby McLean

Outs: Bailey Dale (ext rest), Marcus Bontempelli (ext rest/inj), Lin Jong (ext rest/inj)

I was very worried when they went in without Talia. I think his spot might depend on who the opponents are.
In stringer crameri honey (if fit)
Out Bonts Dale and 1 of Jong,Hrovat or Biggs.

Honey best 22 for mine

Out: Bont (Inj), Dale, Biggs

In: Stringer, Crameri and Talia

If Crameri not fit, leave Dale in.

Must win game, and definitely winnable. Boyd to play for mine.

If no match up for Talia, push Hrovat into more midfield time and bring in McLean up forward.

Initial thoughts are that I think Hrovat and Biggs would be the first 2 out if we do make any changes. If Bont is remotely sore he should be rested, it's silly otherwise. Crameri the same, no point rushing him back.

You would think if Stringer was simply ill then he will be a definite in, but was he really ill? he's be off a bit for a few weeks.

Hrovat was really good yesterday for mine, was key linking player in a few goal chains.

Still playing up forward a bit too when he's a natural mid.

Yeah I found the whole mysterious illness interesting as well given his form over the last two weeks. Maybe over thinking it but it smells like the whole "general soreness/rest 20 Freo players pre finals" thing to me.

I'd give Biggs another week or two. Haven't been able to see what he's capable of yet. Was under siege in a game that was already finished in his first game, and by the time he came on against the Giants the game was won and our boys were mentally already in the rooms. Not fair to have him go out already for mine. Deserves a better opportunity to show what he can offer this side.

Over thinking it, his whole family are sick at the moment.

saw his mrs on instragram saying all 3 are stuck at home with a bug

Think if Bont is touch and go we rest him give him a two week freshen up ready for the rest of the season young body getting tagged most weeks rest him before niggles turn into injuries.
Would assume Stringer will be right after missing with only illness, if Crammers is right he comes straight back in.
Out:
Bont - (soreness/inj)
Dale - had a taste been okay still needs to add size
In:
Stringer Crameri

Biggs deserves an extended run, even if I've been less than impressed so far. He lacks experience, and he's played once as the sub and once in a side that was dreadful.

Honeychurch and Crameri should come in. So too Stringer if he's over his mystery illness.

Bontempelli deserves a rest. So too Bailey Dale if needed, although he deserves to keep his spot.

Grants set shots are another which has deteriorated recently, he used to be a dead eye kick for goal. Him, Stringer, Dahl, Crammers have all gotten worse recently.
Dahl and Grant could've had 9 or 10 between them yesterday and finished with 3, was a little disappointing.

How do we find room for all of Roughead, Talia, Hamling and Roberts? Talia deserves to be playing but none of the previously mentioned deserve to be dropped, I suppose it's a good problem to have.
Play Roughy as a twin full-forward\second ruck, Hamling to play as third-tall back & possibly swinging forward to swap with Roughy.

hrovat I thought played one of his best games of his year, tackling, didn't look to make so many bad decisions.. Dale (rest) and Bont for String and Cram.

How about Jongy?

Jong was better than he has been but still a long way off his early season form. It's a line ball call for mine, but judging from Beveridge's presser, he'll be persisted with.
