Also, I don't know if I have ever noticed many adductor injuries before. For three players to pull up with problems with that area, are we perhaps doing something in training that needs to be fixed? Bad to hear that Picken may miss.

As someone who likes to have the occasional wager, the Dogs are massive overs at $4 for this weekend. Port are just going and although we may not win, we're a $2.30 chance, not $4. Bet responsibly.

I think McLean should come in after the bye against weaker opposition, debutants rarely contribute and in a game where a win almost sets up a finals spot I don't think it's worth it. Having Dale in the team against Freo definitely hurt the sides chances of winning.

Actually, I don't think Chernobyl was a 'decision' per se, it was the end result of a lot of non-decisions, but whatever.

I agree about Cordy. All the talk about needing Ayce for 'team balance' is mystifying to me. Firstly, to compete against the ruckmen that every other team has we need a ruckman ourselves. We have Big Will. Secondly, what does Cordy do 'around the ground' that isn't already being done by our bigger-bodied players? Cordy does nothing better than them. He also needs a third man up at every ruck contest, so that's one less player available for the ground ball. No thanks.

We have been consistently consistent on one thing though, playing well as underdogs. Hawthorn is the only outlier.
