Out: Boyd, Dale
In: Crameri, Stringer
Don't see the point in dropping Bontempelli, nobody knows the extent of the injury.
We should be playing to win, but debuting a kid like McLean would only be counterproductive to that task. At least wait until we play a bad side before we start giving first year players a go.

Ryder won't play. This week is as good as any to give Tom Boyd the week off. Interstate game and with the bye the next week he is effectively having a 2 week break. Ditto Bonts.
No point playing both when we need them after the break and winning games.
Stringer and Crameri come back in to replace both guys so at least we are getting some talent back.
Toby McLean kicks goals in the VFL then we can swap him in for Dale (who can have the week off too).
Would like to see Talia back in to take on the 3 talls of PA (Westhoff, Ryder, Schulz).

I like the rat, but if I have to make a choice. I think he's going ok, just not quite in the best 22 if we are all fit.Hrovat was really good yesterday for mine, was key linking player in a few goal chains.
Still playing up forward a bit too when he's a natural mid.
It's the season for colds and flu. Bev said Tom Boyd was sick during the week before the Melbourne game.Yeah I found the whole mysterious illness interesting as well given his form over the last two weeks. Maybe over thinking it but it smells like the whole "general soreness/rest 20 Freo players pre finals" thing to me.
I wouldn't be surprised if the bye means we don't rest a player because we know he'll get a rest the week after. I look forward to Boyd clunking a few more. This week is as good as any to give Tom Boyd the week off. Interstate game and with the bye the next week he is effectively having a 2 week break. Is Bont definitely out? If so, for how long?Out: Bontempelli (adductor), Dale (needs to get a kick in the VFL)

I think Bev has been flirting with the idea of playing Roberts permanently forward and this week with Ryder out is probably the week to do it. Although that really is largely dependant on if Talia returns - Bev hasn't brought anyone up after dropping them a week beforehand yet.
I'd like to give Boyd 2 weeks off also but there's only 1 other KPF that can replace him in Redpath, who's form has only been so-so and he is now injured.
Not definitely. But he looks to have been hampered for the past few weeks, and was sore on the weekend. 2 weeks off (since we have the bye in 2 weeks) would probably be good for him.Is Bont definitely out? If so, for how long?
We've been playing half fit players all year! You guys been traveling well, good to see.Let's not take any half fit semi-fit players over there against these guys. Wondering if McLean might not be ready to go.
Nope, three weeks I heard Ken say last week. Playing better without himIs he due back next week? Not sure of the details of the injury.
We're $3.50. Man that is tempting.
Yeah because nothing says good form like losing to St Kilda and Melbourne.Considering our last month, I thought you guys should at least be slight favourites.
As someone who hasn't rated Grant all that highly, I thought he did play a pretty good game yesterday. Wouldn't go so far to say it was awesome but definitely shouldn't be talked about as an omission imo.The lack of Grant love after an awesome game yesterday shutting down, in turns, Scully, Shiel and Treloar, kicking a goal and being amazingly creative (again) has me stunned.
