No point bagging our forwards, with so little inside 50's they are the least of our worries. Ross needs to fix the midfield
whether that is instruction, gameplan, something has to give and we need to find other mids.
Even thinking outside the square, putting Hughes in there, Ryan, someone with some fight, what we don't need is timid

Also think if we play Darcy we need to play Nads as the forward/ruck, he has a genuine forward game, and can pinch
a few goals out of nothing.
Ross is Lost, and if the club doesn't fix this, then next year will be the same.

Unfortunately not one has he played a full game. I think two more Peel vs Perth & South Freo, then come in for the Derby.

Keep Hughes and Kersten in. Logue would be the replacement for them but let’s see who will stand up.
Keeping Darcy and Apeness combination going for a while until Sandilands is full recovered.
Giro was off his disposal but the effort was there.
Only Duman form has been good at Peel and Bennell hasn’t run a dominating full game eg 25 plus disposals.

I am curious who should be dropped.
I would possibly drop Apeness for Scott Jones. Apeness had 8 hit outs and handful of deposals. I would bring in Scott Jones wo got 31 hitouts in the WAFL vs Subi. Meek and Strnadica got 15 hit outs each too.
Next one wont be A popular choice. Drop Dary Tucker for danyle Pearce. Not a popular move but here is why.... We need another experienced body over a young one. we are playing enough youth as it is. Giro, Cerra, Brayshaw and Banfield are all 1st year players. Cox, Darcy and Ryan are all 2nd year players.

Why would we drop Apeness after 1 down game in tough conditions against the best Ruck in the comp?

Were they against a ruckman as good as Gawn?I was not impressed with Jones against Adelaide .He is as slow as treacle .

Apeness plays out the year IMO if he stays fit.
Hughes needs at least 3 games in a row albeit we are up against it and the w/l ledger will suck regardless of his performance.
Tucker needs to lift but I think keep him in and hope he ups his trade value.

Yep, gameday fitness is Apeness' issue. That'll improve.
Not going to get any easier for Darcy/Ape though. The reigning AA ruckman Paddy Ryder is waiting for them.
