Have no choice but to bring in D. Pearce. In terms of form and fitness, he's all we have.
Crowden could be a chance.
What's our midfield gonna be like this weekend with all these outs. Cerra could be in the middle for more time, which is positive

Yeah I’d actually love for Crowden and Cerra to get some time in the guts. Like 10 center bounces each

DP has at most 7 games for Freo left, is there really any point? He has had a couple of games this year but surely the benefits to Mitch playing outweigh the minor improvement in performance you'd get running out with DP?

Yes I expect Cerra to play more mid time. He looked good there in his short stint on the weekend which makes sense seeing as he is a midfielder. Would be happy to have Mitch join him.

I have changed my mind and talked myself into playing Mitch.

Out: Tucker and Andy
In: Duman and Mitch

I wouldn’t be against this:

Last game of the year, bring Danyle, Johnson and Ballas back in to say goodbye. That would be the right thing to do
Other than that, no

I think that is appropriate especially given we are at home. For all their current limitations they have all done a lot for this club.

With the rate of injuries occurring we may not have a choice!

We might have to play Bennel.

If he's not right it's madness to play him. Better to lose by 250 points than to risk all the work we've put into him by playing him before he's ready.

He'd have to run out a full game at Peel first. No point playing him in the AFL if he can't do that yet.
Not sure if its he can't run out a full game, the last couple seems like a planned benching. Should be different if he plays in the forwards and BHill only played 3 quarters after 12 games off and returned.

I’m all for playing Bennell, even if it’s only 50% game time. He’s either going to build into something exciting for next year or ping his calves. Either way it’ll make the decision for the club what he does in 2019.

Way too much media coming out of the club on Bennell. Reckon he’s a lock to return to replace Giro.
Eh? We have at least 1 confirmed out and Giro was better than Tucker anyway. Also add to that, Ross reaffirmed the commitment to youth. Can't see Giro out myself. He made some skill errors, Ross generally doesn't punish those - see DP, Deboer, Suban etc.

Why would you bring Crowden in? He’s hardly touched the ball since R4. Really poor policy, selecting on birth certificate. Gifting games doesn’t do youngsters any favours. A solid body of work before being considered for selection is what is required and should be demanded.

Tucker>Duman
Brayshaw>Crowden
Matera>Bennell

Will they have a look at Sutcliffe instead of Crowden (who has hardly touched it at Peel)? He has been in the emergencies the last two weeks, travelled to Darwin and has been training with the league team.

Johnson and D.Pearce deserve to play after the last Peel match but the best they can hope for is a send off against the Pies. Our year is shot and we will struggle to win more than 1 more game which is disappointing.

All going well for Logue I expect him to be fast tracked into the league side in 3-4 weeks (prob just 1 Peel game back to give him the last 2-3 AFL Games). The planning for 2019/20 begins.

We have had some wrotten luck with injuries, incl. the stop/start ones like Stephen Hill and Michael Walters.

Crowden had a couple of 28 touch games before the bye a couple weeks back, definitely slowed down after that unfortunately

Unless he comes in for Giro, I can’t see how we can have two under sized 7 possession players who run 16km a game.

The most likely replacement for Brayshaw was North , Sadly he has gone down as well:(

He had exactly ONE game of 27 touches.
Followed by 16, 16 and last game 10.

Not exactly screaming pick me, but would be my first in as replacement for Brayshaw.

I'm willing to ignore the Subi game on the basis that almost everyone was terrible and Subi in the wet is probably a harder matchup than Carlton in the AFL.

How much forward is he playing? If he is 50/50 then 16 touches is ok if he is tackling a lot. Certainly not standout numbers as you say.

The only mid that deserves a gig is DP and I just don't think bringing him in makes sense.
