We had noone forward last week with Ballantyne out, bringing a natural forward in is a smart move IMO

Is it smart though? Being rewarded by being named in the squad (I know it's not finalized) for doing nothing? He's done zilch for Peel, I'd take any other kid or even 3 quarters of Bennell over Cam. Being picked used to be an honor and you had to deserve it, nowadays it means nothing.

Also Sutcliffe..........just why?!?!

If he was performing yes, but does he deserve it? No. So why does he deserve to be picked? Because I can't see a single reason why he should be rewarded, especially after the crap Tabs went through last year. (in b4 Ross made Tabs a better player)

Eh? We have at least 1 confirmed out and Giro was better than Tucker anyway. Also add to that, Ross reaffirmed the commitment to youth. Can't see Giro out myself. He made some skill errors, Ross generally doesn't punish those - see DP, Deboer, Suban etc.

Ehhh, Tucker is youth.
Giro is not AFL standard yet by any stretch.
To be clear Ross absolutely punishes skill errors he’s a professional AFL coach. Effort and skill, you can’t hit a target then you don’t play.
IMO tucker has demonstrated he can hit targets on numerous occasions, Giro has yet to demonstrate it. One day he will , but gees if Tucker is dropped before Giro I’m on the Sack Ross bandwagon.
