Oh well, you move on. Woulda, coulda, shoulda....last vs first....apprentice and the master.......meh, at least there are no injuries.

Anyway, on to next week:

Out:
Staker - did not perform well
Wooden - was ordinary, we need to make way for Judd
Nicoski - not bad, but needs to make way for Wirra

Lynch is lucky - only his size is keeping him in the team.

In:
Seaby - we need a (far) better second ruckman, who can mark and take shots on goal
Judd - he'll be back and fired up
Wirrpunda - will give better drive out of defence. We've missed him.

I'd be quite happy with those in's and out's. Hopefully bith Wirra and Seaby will be alright to go next week. Seaby got a run in the WAFL so hopefully he went well. Listened to a but of the game and know he kicked 1 goal and was rucking so fingers crossed

Nicoski should not go out, i say keep nicoski in, mcconnell out, mcconell is just young and i reckon we could do without him more than nicoski. Nicoski aint so bad in the middle, but oh well it's the match committees decision. Main thing is that Staker is taken out of the team as soon as possible.

Outs:
Staker (He's a mole)
Wooden (Just to make way for Judd)
McConnell (Just to make way for Wirra)

Ins:
I agree:
Seaby for Staker (Backup ruckman who is a closer guarantee for a hitout than Lynch)
Judd for Wooden (Fast midfielder, different amount of class, although i don't mind Wooden staying in at the expense of Nicoski or some other fringe midfielder)
McConnell or Nicoski for Wirra (Wirra provides that extra fast run out of defence that is always needed)

Hopefully McDougall comes in with judd and wirrpunda after kicking a couple goals for the royals. Looks like Graham will be out for a month now after doin a shoulder.

Ins
Mcdougall judd wirrpunda seaby

Outs
Staker Lynch Nicoski Wooden

OUT: Butler, Staker, D-Mac, Wooden

IN: Judd, Seaby, Wirrapunda, Rowan Jones

Rowan was BOG against yesterday in his WAFL match and we need Seaby back in for some suport in the ruck for Coxxy.

Judd - what more needs to be said

Wirra - what more needs to be said

Was just going to ask about R. Jones. Would be an excellent third marking option up forward as well as playing small. He may be a bit slow, but pace isn't a problem... Contested Marks up forward are.

Would also release Embley to play more Midfield where he does his best work. Permant Half-Forward will never work for Embley.

Definite ins- Wirra, Judd, Seaby
Definite outs- Staker, Wooden, .....?

Assuming Hansen is fit (and imo, he may very well need a week off) the unlucky man will probably be one of McConnell, Butler, Nicoski. Nico had a very poor game in a defensive role and Wirra would effectively replace him, but tough to drop a guy after he played so well a week ago. McConnell wasn't exactly bad for a 2nd gamer and will get better every week, but as the last in he'd logically be in line to be the first out. Butler has been doing pretty well in limited minutes, but his lack of game time leaves him on the fringe.

drop Nikoski. drop and get rid of Staker. Wooden is gone. Butler has dissapointed. Bring back Wirra, Jones, Seaby

Stats don't tell the true story, he was poor at best, made too many mistakes, gave away dumb free kicks, and had 5 goals kicked on him. He's got to go.

My changes would be:
IN - Judd, Wirrpunda, R. Jones, Adkins
OUT - Nicoski, Staker, Wooden, McConnell

Sampi and Matera have to start firing.

Shouldn't you be spell checking someone's post on big footy ?

Check the rest of the posts on this thread....Nicoski was not "one of our better players"

In:Judd,Wirrpunda,Seaby,McDougall
Out:McConnell,Staker,Wooden,Butler

Wirrpunda and Judd are certain In's and you would think Seaby would come back.

Im undecided on Nicoski but I would think McConnell will be dropped and definitely Staker. He has done nothing since being brought into the side. How far away is Doogs!!

Not sure how he is going since living in victoria u dont hear much about the wafl but he got a couple goals for the royals in there reserves so mite help his chance in getting into the side this week

Though i like Wooden when hes going well, he played real real bad, so get rid of him.

Nikoski was shocking and i believe he was a good contributor for giving reason for us losing, so get rid of him.

McConnel is fine and same with Butler but this week v Port is too costly to drop, and more experience will be needed, id say drop them, but i believe wooshas faith in them is too great so their chances of staying are ok but some one has to make room for Judd and Wirrpunda.

I dont think McDougal is injured anymore, and form or no form, i think its time to bring the MAC Daddy Dougal back in.

We will have Judd back in which is good, but againstthe pies, who we missed the most was Wirrpunda swooping around down back.

Also who should be included after his week in the WAFL should be Seaby. Its pretty obvious and proven that with him out the side, and Lynch filling in for Cox when he is resting, we are severly put at a disadvantage. Having the more established ruckman in Seaby back in the side will by far increase our ifficiency.

out: Wooden, Staker, Butler, Mcconnel

In: Seaby, Judd, Wirrapunda, Jones

Lucky: Lynch,

Unlucky: Mccdougall

BTW what is going on with Beau Waters?

What a shocker on saturday;how the hell is staker
still in our best 22

outs; staker (shocker)
Mc Connell (out for judd )
Lynch (make way for seaby)

ins; Wirrapunda
Judd
Seaby

give Nicoski and Wooden another chance as the team did
not play well, also swap Seaby and Cox up forward instead
of putting them on the bench another tall up there.
Another thing if one of these ruckman go down its time to give
Gardiner a shot in the ruck.

No way in hell will both Lynch and Staker be dropped. Staker will go out for Seaby and Lynch will stay in the team.

Nicoski was in good in terms of finding the ball, horrible in terms of accountability which is not on for a backman. I am a fan of Mark, but the fundamental of playing in defence is to blanket your opponent and run to create. Staker isn't impressing anyone in his current form.

This looms as a very dangerous game for West Coast. Despite Port Adelaide's recent form, they are notorious for being very good at Subiaco, with the exception of Fremantle in round 1.

This is no walk up win, especially after the intensity fade-out against Collingwood. It could be two losses in a row I feel, if Port Adelaide is taken too lightly. I don't think West Coast has anyone that can stop Warren Tredrea, who along with Kane Cornes and Peter Burgoyne will need to be controlled.

I am excited at the prospect of this game, as it will reveal the character of either pretenders or contenders.
