OUT: Jaensch, Vince, Callinan
IN: Stiffy, Kerridge (must be rewarded for a great game), Smith

After a woeful finals series and poor today in a must win game do we rule a line through Callinan?

I think there's a slim possibility we might see Callinan <--> Johncock.. but I wouldn't be betting on it.

Vince certainly isn't in any danger of being dropped, particularly given the intel about Porps being on thin ice (supported by him wearing the lime bib).

Those wanting to see Kerridge rushed into the side need to go and take a cold shower. Yes, those are some very good stats he put up last night. However, he needs to do that consistently for at least 3 weeks running before he would be considered by the selectors. He's young & his turn will come - but he needs to make it happen by performing consistently.

I'm tipping just one change:
Jaensch <--> Smith

And that assumes that Smith is passed fit for duty. If Smith fails his fitness test then I'm tipping that the "No Changes" sign will get hung out this week.
I'm tipping after a month of no training ...smith will play one game in the SANFL

Out: Vince, Jaensch
In: Kerridge, Tambling

I wouldn't quite go that far.. but he certainly wasn't amongst our worst and it was his best game for a long, long time.

Our best as I saw it:
Dangerfield, Thompson, Sloane, Jacobs, Douglas & JJ.
Not so sure about that. Made some sloppy mistakes out there today.

Agree with the Callinan <----> Johncock swap, however I feel it's a bit harsh on Vince to drop him this early.
IMO Jaensch <----> Smith (if healthy)/Kerridge

Yes I'm aware of how much you rate him . He is playing well now and I think another 5-6 games could have him back in 2009-type form.
yep ...its good to be vindicated

Don't worry you'll get the thrill when LT is cut in 2 years.
don't think there's any doubt it'll happen ......it's not what i want ...i just don't see an AFL player
That said now Shaw is down ......if Otten has an injury then L.Thompson is next in line ....and i'm sure as a bandaid player he'll be serviceable
But he;s only an interim player till we draft better talls

That's a good call I reckon, Johncock for Callinan is a logical change.

Still have belief in the little bloke though...

I agree with your belief that he will be cut I just don't think he is as bad as you make him out to be. At another team in need of talls where he would given the time to properly develop (e.g. the Bulldogs) I think he could be a decent player.

I love if when Vader tells us how the SANFL players are going.

Kerridge had sustained good form last year - and he's started very strongly this year; he's hardly being 'rushed in.'

We brought Crouch in and he instantly improved our team - our bottom 6 players aren't strong enough to suggest that Kerridge wouldn't do the same.

So no changes to a team for the first three weeks then?

Yes, I agree. I have consistently rated Kerridge on this board, but he does need to string a few outstanding games together.

Umm.. didn't we have 2 changes from R1 to R2?

I'm tipping no changes from R2 to R3.
I was confining what you said a player needs to show 3 good form weeks in the sanfl. So that means no one can be picked out of the sanfl for 3 weeks. Ie no changes according to you can be made?
