simmo is making cole to really earn his spot in the side. Hopefully all it makes is for cole to value his spot and when he gets into the side he doesn't let go if it.

Pressure is what turns Cole into Diamond...

Even if the bub arrives tomorrow - there is no point the lad playing Saturday

Having a kid is the most emotionally draining thing you can do as a bloke.

Fear, nerves, joy, love, relief, panic, overwhelming.... i was stuffed the next day and I didn't actually do much other than cop the occasional assaulting from the wife during contractions.

God ,I hope JK doesn't feel this way .

He'll be right, for me i was just happy as a pig in you know what.
He'll probably kick a bag!
Another 5 by quarter time would be handy. ;) He can take an early flight home at half time if he does that.

Can depend on the birth too. My wife had a 16 hour labour before they decided to perform an emergency c section. Nearly lost my little man.

Singlehandly the most stressful, scary & exciting day of my life, and although full of adrenaline and felt I could take on the world, that falls away sharply. I could see the baby being born today, jk thinking he might be ok, then crashing tomorrow afternoon. So for his sake i hope he stays. Holding your child for the first time (and second and third) is one of the best experiences in life. I wouldn't want to miss that for anything.

Yes until it happens you never know how big it is. My daughter is 14 and I remember when I held her for the first time, magic.

My little bloke was keen as to get out, 2 hours done and dusted with all the good stuff you mentioned.

Only slight concern for me without JK is whether Gov will have the same tenacity in regards to forward pressure. Obviously a great defender but he's not JK. :p

My daughter was born a couple of hours after my wife dropped me and my 8yr old daughter off at the train as I headed off to the grand final 05 . found out by text message when the signal came back between southern cross and kalgoorlie . she came 2 weeks early .
