I would like to see Hill get dropped. I dont think he does enough and you dont see him until the games over.

Darling will only be out if he's got a real bad corkie. Why would you want to drop Wellingham?

I don't want Wellingham dropped, if you re-read what I said then you may find that at the very top of my post I said that hopefully there are no changes, unless there are forced changes. Wellingham hurt his ankle and we all know his history with ankle injuries, hence the reason I listed him along with Darling as hypothetical outs.

Out: Cripps, In: McGinnity.

This is as much to give McGinnity a run as to give Cripps a bit of a chance to find some more of the footy at East Perth. Heard people saying Cripps was putting on a lot of pressure off the ball, which is fair enough, but in the tougher games against the good clubs, and also keeping an eye on finals, if Cripps is getting 7-10 possessions and kicking one goal (7 today, kicked 1.2), we might as well have McGinnity in there to compete with the bigger bodies and put the fear of god in some of the opposition.

Highly doubt MC are going to make that move, but I think we should be constantly thinking of the hypothetical of how the team is going to be looking on Grand Final day if we get there, and how the team is going to hold up when the heat would really come on from a Geelong or a Hawthorn, ala last year.

Who are all you BF newbies and which school would we find you at?

Some of these changes are ridiculous. Good win - keep the team the same.

Hill pressure game has improved. Rather bring jamie bennell. Patrick Mcginnity doesnt deserve another call up.

This might be an outlier but the fact that both JK and Lecca were accurate in front of goals today is probably because both of them played majority of the game deep in forward. I think This is what simmo needs to do every game. Lecca and JK deep. Lycett at CHF and JD roam between the arcs.

Does anybody think we could play Jetts in Cripps' position? That could be a change this week if the match committee feel he could play that role. Jetta's best season was 2012 when he kicked 40+ goals so it could work. Might need another week in the WAFL though and Cripps' defensive pressure is valuable.

Jetta kicked those goals as a wingman, not As a forward pocket

I was thinking more of a high half forward sort of role. If Cripps were to be dropped, you could give LeCras more forward time as he seems to work better there and let Jetta play a high half forward, with bursts on the wing sort of role. May just stick with Cripps as his tackling pressure is good but if Jetta's WAFL form warrants selection then you may have to reward it, especially if Crippa's form isnt flash.

I think Jetta could do quite well as a high half forward. Certainly has the tools. Cripps provides real mongrel in that forward line though.

Whereas Jetta has zero defensive efforts

Sorry I wasn't aware that Wellingham had sustained an ankle injury. That actually was my query.

Ellis in for Redden (Looked Sore)

Nelson for Wellingham if he doesn't get up

If only on change Ellis comes in

I had that thought the other day too. I reckon it would be worth a try. As you say his defensive efforts would be a bit of concern though

Defensive forward. Jetta??? Lack of pressure and tackling make that word redundant.

Only role i see for him is the mark lecras 7th 'defender' off the back of the square running forward
