Are smothers registered on the stat sheets? I've never seen them on there. Still underrated, would be interesting to see who's up there a lot of good smothers on the weekend I noticed in lots of games. Let's not forget some of Beaus and Chicks beauties!
Maybe they are recorded under "1%-ers"? Had a look at the stats from the Saints game. Sheppard had 7 1%ers, followed by Gov with 5 and Schofield with 4.

Nope. We have been just about full strength for a couple of weeks now.

We have zero excuses.

If Port win this then they well and truely deserve it.
And the travel demons will continue to haunt the lads.

Averaging 25 disposals for EP - 34 on the weekend. Pull redden and let yeo run, Simmo should back Kane in against Port.

Port are paying $3.25

big moneys to be made

Kane Lucas v Kane Mitchell

Now there's a battle for the ages. Winner would be lauded, loser booed until my throat is sore. :p

Still happy with no changes, tbh.

If butler doesn't come up for any reason (ie sore groin), then I'd be happy with nelson in. Gov to start forward. Trengove having to ruck leaves them undersized anyway, and we can always send him back should Dixon pull his finger out and actually play like a guy with his talent should.

The funny thing with Jetta missing last week, is that he probably would have had a field day against the saints, especially after quarter time. But I think it's better he has 2-4 good weeks in the wafl and comes back hungry to perform. I like how he hasn't dropped his head. That's a good sign, I think. He could easily have moped around for a couple of weeks.

His supposed attitude problems are hugely overblown. He's not lazy or entitled IMO, he's just someone who needs to have 100% confidence in what he's doing otherwise he becomes withdrawn and passive.

He's definitely mentally weak but I bet he's more upset about his poor performances than anyone else is

bit like Shuan Marsh. Both are highly talented athletes but mentally. They look a million bucks when up and a bout are confident with their ability but when they hit a hurdle they go into a massive slump and its hard to get them out of it. S.Marsh after his disaster tour against india was sent back to shield cricket and forced his way back through some great cricket. I have a feeling jetta will do the same.

I would imagine so. He doesn't strike me as entitled or arrogant in any way actually, just a talented guy out of form.

He wouldn't be the first big name recruit to spit it after being dropped, though. I'm just glad he has taken it the right way and responded well. That was more what I meant.

Seeing who posted this and what it said I immediately assumed you were talking about Lamb. :p
