Out:

Thompson - Old, slow, gawn.
Porplyzia - 5 years is a long enough wait for him to replicate his 2009 self.
Martin - Not up to it

In:

Douglas - groin or no groin, must play
M Crouch - offers more as a player than Thompson or Porplyzia.
Oh god do we have the depth to bring in another player? Hell I would bring Petrenko in for Martin.

I was really disappointed with Thommo tonight. Seemed to take five steps backwards from his preseason form. Is Sando up to dropping him?

Thomspon is done. Slow and ineffectual, he provides us with absolutely nothing. Doesn't help that he also happens to be one of the worst set shot kicks I've seen since Petrenko.

Martin wasn't great tonight, but his form leading into it was pretty good.

It is possible he just had a bit of a down game....

Or it could just be that when the heat is truly on, he goes into his shell

PS game and H&A game are 2 totally different beasts

Should never have been selected in the first place. Was able to do whatever he wanted with no pressure, and as soon as the real stuff starts we remember he's too slow.
He also cant lay a tackle, I dont know what his strengths are?? One of those classic decent SANFL players who cant step up.

,Have a flipping real look - Jaensch kicked that long bomb, awesome a highlight he can tell his grandkids will he also tell them about Bartel's goals etc he is not up to AFL. Lyon showed so much more, bring back Laird someone who is accountable.

Utter drivel this. Jaensch was one of our best tonight.

I'm wondering what Porplyzia has done to justify the faith Sando's coaching team have shown in him thus far.

And I'm not just talking about tonight. It's been five years since his best football.

And if I hear someone from our coaching panel say "he's looked good on the track" I will spew up.

All of you crying about how Port are gonna flog us. Just do us all all a favor and **** off you insecure scum. Go buy a Port membership and delete your bigfooty account. We were playing Geelong at home, that hardest road trip in the AFL on Bartel's 250th. We put in a great 3 quarters and only got overrun by Geelongs class in the 4th. We didn't look unfit, we ran out the first 3 quarters better than Geelong. We were simply outclassed. An injured Geelong is better than an injured Adelaide. Simple.

I was really worried by the end of 2013. Looked like the game had gona a mile past him. At the time I put it down to injuries and figured the off season would do him a world of good.

He's playing as one of our main onballers. Dangerfield is the one copping the hard tags. And yet he's scratching together a pedestrian 7 kick, 13 handball game without impacting the scoreboard. Slow, fumbly, deteriorating defensive game.

I really think Lyons and M Crouch are better players right now. Not even on a 'potential' thing, I just think they are superior in the same role.

If Laird is fit, then yes. He's been injured most of PS

Maybe our fans simply see it like it is. We couldn't go with them for most of the night, take your crows coloured glasses off, there's too many holes in our side to compete with sides with pace and good kicking skills.

Rubbish. This game is akin to his first in AFL. He did enoughskillwise to show some future. Yeah he Effed it a couple of times, but I saw him in and under enough packs to proove to myself that the kid at least has some balls. What do you concider McKays excuse?
How many games do you give this kid to harden the muck up. Way too many blokes like this on our list over the years.
The cats threw us around in the last quater. That is what good sides do to us.

Have a look mate it's not only what he does its what he lets the opposition do - he is not AFL standard - counting disposals yeah maybe he doesn't do anything damaging -shit truck
I'd rather take his good and expect the rest of the side to do their job - this didn't happen so I fail to see how Jaensch should be the only one to be blamed. He was actually decent one on one for most of the night so maybe you should take a closer look?

Give the forward line more than 2 minutes to gel plz thx

Jenkins has done nothing to demand selection

Porps is not a midfielder and can't tackle. Wasted spot

Shaw, Martin, Jaensch and Porps out

Laird, Cameron, CEY, Crouch in

Jaensch was actually ok but we will always be panicky losers while he's first 22

Lyons should start. Ineffective as sub. You need an impact player as sub not your 22nd best. Charlie Cameron elevated and made semi-permanent sub until he matures to a full time starter

Outs for me would only be Shaw and Martin. They didnt show enough for me tonight. Shaw is extremely rusty, his skills were shocking, needs to go back into the SANFL and work himself into form. Martin just didnt cut it.

Mckernan and Johnston stay. Mckernan was good tonight, not great, just good and deserves another game. LJ did exactly what he was there to do, kick crucial goals from limited opportunities. Would like to see him improve his defensive efforts however.

All of those guys bagging Jaensch? You have no ****ing idea. Seriously, stfu and stop jumping on the whipping boy wagon. He was one of out better players tonight, took the game on and used the ball very well. Had that spaz moment on Selwood at the end but the game was over by then.

On thin ice:
- Thompson
- Probably Porps but im not sure.

In:
- Hopefully Douglas
- Petrenko? Laird?
