Has anyone noticed how obsessed Port supporters are with us? Their entire AFL non discussion thread is about the Crows.
What else are they gonna talk about? We were the only footy game on tonight. It makes sense for them to discuss the game.

Rubbish. This game is akin to his first in AFL. He did enoughskillwise to show some future. Yeah he Effed it a couple of times, but I saw him in and under enough packs to proove to myself that the kid at least has some balls. What do you concider McKays excuse?
How many games do you give this kid to harden the muck up. Way too many blokes like this on our list over the years.
The cats threw us around in the last quater. That is what good sides do to us.
Mackay is in the same boat. But you can only drop so many for what's left if the shed. That's a pretty lame excuse on Martin as well, he's had how many seasons to prove himself?

Have a look mate it's not only what he does its what he lets the opposition do - he is not AFL standard - counting disposals yeah maybe he doesn't do anything damaging -shit truck

You really need to watch the replay Jaensch had some great one on one spoils and wins.

Porplyzia was clearly our worst. He has to go surely. Thompson and Martin also very poor, Shaw average.

In: M. Crouch, Laird, Douglas
Out: Porplyzia, Martin, Shaw/Thompson

It really ****ing shits me sometimes. You can't even blink as a crows fan without them making some sort of comment.

Pods out? Surely you jest....
Looked really rusty, I would be willing to give him a run for the ressies to sharpen up. Don't think Sando will drop him but his pre-season was average and tonight was no better.

I would really like to know what Danger has done to rustle their jimmies. I used to think it was jealousy but given how good their midfield has come I would have thought they wouldn't give a shit anymore but the obsession continues.

Porps in the midfield at 29 - we're hoping he's got something we haven't seen in the last ten years.

I didn't think he was our worst tonight at all. But I agree, got to be forward pocket.

Maybe our fans simply see it like it is. We couldn't go with them for most of the night, take your crows coloured glasses off, there's too many holes in our side to compete with sides with pace and good kicking skills.

No shit, a third of our best 22 were out / injured / underdone. And we did go with them for most of the night, did you only watch the last quarter? Maybe you should stop shitting yourself and realise Port are not Geelong and Adelaide Oval is not Simonds stadium. Next week WILL be different.

It is just baffling. We played Danger in the forwardline a lot this game (why the **** would we do that for?) and play Porps as a mid/high half forward or whatever.

Reverse the roles. Porps is way better at finishing than he is at delivering to a teammate.

Honestly I would love for you to be right, no matter what I always go to see Adelaide play and watch every week and hope for something different than I have seen recently. More often than not though it doesn't.

We went with them for most of the night we come back from 3/4 goals twice.
I hope we have a mass cleanout of janesch, porps, martin, graham and l.thompson plus 3 to 4 more which I hope would of already happen at the end of 2012/13 if not for the loss of draft picks.

It's our first game of the year against Geelong on one of the hardest grounds for away teams to play on. We were beating them early 4th quarter and some of our supporters already want at least one third of the team out for the showdown ffs...
We have to be realistic. We gave them an onslaught of goals in each quarter and were lucky to not get thumped by far more.

Outs for me would only be Shaw and Martin. They didnt show enough for me tonight. Shaw is extremely rusty, his skills were shocking, needs to go back into the SANFL and work himself into form. Martin just didnt cut it.

Mckernan and Johnston stay. Mckernan was good tonight, not great, just good and deserves another game. LJ did exactly what he was there to do, kick crucial goals from limited opportunities. Would like to see him improve his defensive efforts however.

All of those guys bagging Jaensch? You have no ****ing idea. Seriously, stfu and stop jumping on the whipping boy wagon. He was one of out better players tonight, took the game on and used the ball very well. Had that spaz moment on Selwood at the end but the game was over by then.

On thin ice:
- Thompson
- Probably Porps but im not sure.

In:
- Hopefully Douglas
- Petrenko? Laird?
Wrong, I noticed Wright was on him for a fair bit when he was getting free early. Jaensch probably played half, Wright the other half.

No totally incorrect he was ok -but we can't be ok - he has had his chances enough is enough he isn't up to AFL those dinky flipping kicks shit handballs might be great at SANFL but he hasn't got the weapons for the big league move him on!

Structure tonight was screwed due to our list changes and injuries. No Vince, VB, Douglas, Laird and Crouch Snr. being a bit underdone really showed. I doubt they were expecting to have to use Thompson as a primary midfielder and Porps really isn't up to it. Clubs caught on to the fact that if you put a decent taller defender on him when he goes forward he's next to useless and it showed. Couldn't stick a tackle when he was in the midfield either. Would love to see Martin succeed as he has a crack, but his skills just aren't there.

Real positives were Wright finding a lot of the ball again. Jacobs work around the ground. Jaensch showed bits and pieces. Mckernan is still a ****** who just never seems to be able to pull off what he tries to do.

OUT: Porps / Martin
IN: Laird / Crouch Jnr.

It was a game, now it's habit..
It's just "what you do"..
They hated the attention and praise he was earning Australia wide, he was becoming one of the most talked about players in the comp while Port were being smashed by everyone for how insipid they were..

At this stage it is difficult to put names forward, need to know who plays well in the magoo's and who is available coming back from injuries

However with that said I was disappointed with both Martin and Porplyzia.

Martin's decision making was extremely poor and is reflected in his kick to handball ratio and Porplyzia again has failed to make an impact on the game

Hopefully M Crouch, Laird and Radar will all have big hit outs this week
