It's a case of big jelly.Has anyone noticed how obsessed Port supporters are with us? Their entire AFL non discussion thread is about the Crows.
Jaensch had 25 (6 contested) disposals at 100% efficiency. 3 tackles. 4 inside 50s and a goal. Stats don't tell the whole picture but anyone suggesting he be dropped doesn't understand football.

Agreed unless kick-ins don't count towards efficiency? I distinctly remember him kicking it to himself at least once and bombing it to a pack.
Sando said the only realistic possible inclusion is Laird..Have seen quite a few posters calling for Douggy….Is he going to be available? No brainer if he's available but please stop getting my hopes up unless you hear he is available.
Oh yes…and IN:
Taylor Walker
Andy Otten

The Crows' long injury list did not grow any longer on Thursday night but the coach said midfielder Rory Laird is the only realistic inclusion for round two. He admitted defender Brent Reilly was keen to play but he remained a long shot as he recovers from a shoulder reconstruction.
Its not losing that's the issue. Its the way we did it. When you hit the front early in the last quarter you are not meant to get done by 38 points.I'm with Sanders. Hardly concerning stuff. Esp with the outs.
Put dougie tex otten reilly in for martin pods shaw porps and things would change quickly.
A few structure issues that saw us burnt by turnovers.
Still learning this handball game as well.
Laird in
Odd of props or Martin out.
Jaensch fwd. Laird back.
Yeah we got into a position to win. Given some of the issues out there I'm just not surprised we didn't. Those issues don't fix themselves in a quarter. Or in 24 hours of Internet whinging post game. Its not losing that's the issue. Its the way we did it. When you hit the front early in the last quarter you are not meant to get done by 38 points.
In reality this was a very winnable game. To say 'oh well it was a Geelong home game so its ok' is a cop out. It was a very winnable game.
No need for the full stop after the word quarter. Those issues don't fix themselves in a quarter. Or in 24 hours of Internet whinging post game.

I agree with you about Thompson. He just doesn't look competitive anymore. Meanwhile Lyons got 9 possessions in a single quarter. Not a bad return.
Seriously whose dumb idea was it to put porps in the midfield?
11 touches
Club needs to get back to basic football logic and stop trying to be cute making players into something they're not

Lyons should start. Ineffective as sub. You need an impact player as sub not your 22nd best. Charlie Cameron elevated and made semi-permanent sub until he matures to a full time starter
Really? I am yet to see what all the hype is about with Lyons.Lyons must look at Martin, Jaensch, McKay and Porp and think wtf.
He shouldn't even be in the team.

We saw our depth on display last night. In Laird, Petrenko, Hartigan
OUT: You could drop any of the following and mark their card "Never to play again, just not up to this standard".
McKay, Porp, Shaw, Jaensch and Martin.
We have zero depth.
