Won't have to worry about Wines playing....

Can't believe Ken Hinkley says he probably doesn't have a case to answer....

Elected to bump when it was very late, left the ground AND got him high. But all good, cos he played out the game.

Hinkley would say that, just like Cameron defending Greene as "hysteria ". They are not going to say otherwise. They hope the MRP will agree with them.

I accept people have different views on whether it should be Redpath or Cloke, or Redpath and Cloke, Suckling good or bad, even if Lin Jong is best 22. But it is "beanie" not "beany", never has been "beany", never will be "beany" and forever will be "beanie". My grandfathers fought in wars to protect the australian way which includes the spelling of "beanie". And if you think it is appropriate to spell it "beany" well - that is a subject that I really want a plebiscite about.

PS Optimistic Dogs appalling mis-spelling of the word aside, bring a beanie, Ballarat is freezing.

Actually it was Lewis Young brain fade I been spelling beanie this way all my life looks like i could be dropped

Where does he even say that. His quote was "i hope from ollies point of view there is nothing in it but i'll let the mrp take care of that.

AFL website, he was asked if Wines would have a case to answer. "I don't think so"

Fair enough. Adelaide now didn't quote the first bit of his answer. He is allowed to have his opinion though and wouldn't be doing his job if he wasn't trying to talk it down. Also i think it will and should be a week.

Even with all our issues i'll be surprised if we can't beat Port in Ballarat. Watched some of their game yesterday and didn't think they were much chop. Love Robbie Gray though. He is a out and out gun.

On an individual level Ryder, Gray and Dixon will kill us.. maybe even Wingard

Wallis situation is strange. Came back from his badly broken leg early and in great form but has steadily declined since then. There's no doubting his motivation and preparation (unlike a few I could mention) so I'm wondering if he's struggling after the early return. Maybe he's one of those that Bev referred to a week or so back as "struggling" with soreness, niggles, etc? I remember Nathan Brown saying he came back too soon after a similar injury. I certainly wouldn't be judging Wallis's longer term career prospects on whatever he's been able to produce the last 10 weeks since he returned.

Also I am not expecting JJ back in this week. Last report (not sure if accurate) said it was a hamstring so another week out would not be a surprise, depending on the severity of it.

Whatever Dunkley did on Friday he will be better for the run. He'd probably need to be too, but I certainly wouldn't be dropping him straight away.
