Riling up port supporters is pretty easy .. the umpires won you every game last year excuse is delicious.

They're even using it as an excuse pre game this week

For all his promise, I really don't want to see Young in the team this week.
I think his confidence will be shot and Port will target him for sure.
It's not a case of sending the kid out again to restore some confidence.
We simply can't afford to be handing out cheap goals in a cut throat game.
As much as I'm not a fan, I think Roberts should come in if we need the extra tall in defence to replace Young.
He's at least shown some composure in elimination finals.
I'd be amazed if Morris was available. Is his arm going to be encased in titanium?

All these people questioning Morris .. assuming he passes his fitness test he's available.

Stop claiming he can't possibly be ready. The club wouldn't send him out if he wasn't
 
Unbelievable that Morris might make his return. That broken arm is season over for 99% of players, he is one tough mf.

I'd still bring Roberts in this week and play Cordy, Morris and Roberts together. I think our defense looks safer with the three talls down back. Young stays in if Morris doesn't get up.

Still can't believe Redpath got suspended, I had him as an out anyway but that's just bs. Surely we challenge that, what's the difference between two and three weeks anyway? I doubt he comes straight back in for an EF if we accept two and make finals.

redpath is always make an example of. 3 times suspended, and all for very soft things :mad:

If Red accepts the ban and we make finals, he'll at least be able to play in the VFL over the pre finals bye weekend to prove his case for selection.

I hope we challenge though. Given we aren't a guarantee to make the 8, and with our injury list already so long, we want every possible player available for selection. It's worth a roll of the dice, the suspension wasn't clear cut.

Read through the Port preview and Doggy is every third post. Dunno why you care to defend the team on their board, who cares. It seems to happen a lot from different posters, why not just go there and discuss the game rather than trying to defend us or attack them.

What makes you link his form to his mental health. How he is playing has nothing to do with his mental health. He could kick 5 goals in a game and go home and feel depressed.

He was asked about it after the GWS game. Basically said that he's missed a lot of footy and that his year is virtually gone at AFL level, but you never know what might eventuate if (by some miracle) we go deep into September. "Time will tell" was an exact quote from Bevo.

Also who cares what nobodies supporting a fake club have to say. They obviously can't be real footy fans so their knowledge of anything football related needs to be taken with a grain of salt

But you started it. You brought up their supposed easy draw, why? You started it. For nothing... why bother going there? You should stop caring about what other people think.

If Beveridge’s comments in the press conference are anything to go by, he won't be pressured into playing AFL this year and even said it's unlikely. The media attention and pressure to perform in the AFL is much higher which I doubt would help his mental health issues.

We know that, but no matter what you say, they will still believe what they wanna believe. Like banging a head against a brick wall to try and break it down, it aint gonna work.
