Well a good first half, then a putrid third quarter which all but sealed the game for Hawthorn.

A fair few passengers today and again turnovers cost the momentum from the half back.

Ins:
Dawson
Barlow
Sheridan
Pavlich

Outs:
Suttclife (has to play a few weeeks at least for Peel)
Mzungu (just not AFL material anymore)
Hill (if injured)
Suban (another passenger, just not good enough)

Some tough calls to be made this week.
Does Dawson come straight back in?
Barlow?
Sheridan?
Even Pav?
Gu and Suban are worthy outs. Sutty needs some time for Peel getting some touch back. Clarke really offers little.
Hilly may miss a week or 2.

Is there the slightest chance we might leave Pav out? Thought our forward line looked pretty slick and speedy without him
I was wondering that too. Maybe Pav in the goal square. Not roaming up the ground, but actually anchored in the square. Tabs plays better when he is the key big man.

We needed Pav badly in patches, particularly when Clarke and Griffin struggled as resting forwards. Keep Pav mainly FF, and have Tabs play the same role as today - needs to get out of Pav's way and tend to do well on his own 1-on-1 and not having high balls kicked to him.

Good to see Ross say in the presser that Blakely should play the next 14 if he does everything right (won't gift the games, just needs to keep doing the right things)

Also that Apeness will come into the side when he plays 4,5 or 6 games for peel, so thats exciting to hear

Pav should play either deep in the goal square or in the centre square. Tabener plays better when in between the wing and forward pocket than Pav.

Definitely Mzungu out. Dropped his head in a marking contest in the third and cost us a goal. He's been dropped for similar before

Bring Pav and Dawson in for sure. Clarke shows almost nothing - what happened to his early 2013 form? (It may have been early 2014). Suban tries and all that but bring a kid in from the WAFL who has strung a few good games together in a row

We should beat Richmond. They are one of the few teams showing less than us

Barlow does not like this
Hill (inj) and Mz (no future) would be the only definite outs from today I would have thought.

Dawson, Pav, Sheridan, Barlow, Tucker, DeBoer (God help me)

Hill, Sutcliffe, Suban, Clarke, Mzungu, Ibbo

Please no.

The solution to a sinking ship is not to pump out water only to pump in more water to replace it.

De Boer is not AFL quality.

He deserves a chance, as C. Pearce did the same in the WAFL. The team actually needs a bit of grunt inside the contest AND not get caught holding the ball (Suban ). Think this season is now for the coaches to see where the likes of Mzungu, De Boer, C. Pearce, Suban are in terms of 2017 and beyond. Mzungu obviously isn't AFL quality.

In - Pav Shero Dawson Barlow

Out - Sutts Hill (inj) Ibbo Gu

Hughes Dawson Spurr
Shero Pearce Mundy
DPearce Neale Weller
Mayne Tabs Crozier
Ballaz Pav Clarke
Griff Walters Barlow
Langdon Blakely Clancee Suban

Forgot all about Clarke. Probably because he's so shit and never involved in the game.

Drop him. Preferably down a hole somewhere. Crab.

Seniors that deserve dropping:
Sutty
Suban
Clarke
Mzungu

Injuries:
Hill

Langdon struggled finding the action but we need to give him another run of games. Can't be in out in. Same goes for Blakely.

Out:
Suban - De Boer
Sutty - Sherro
Clarke - Pav
Mzungu - Dawson
Hill - ??? Cupboard looking bare (Grey/Tucker)

Don't expect 5 changes. If the max is 3 changes then Subes, Sutty and Clarke need to be the ones that go. Hill can play on one leg.

Clarke is pathetic. Ibbo is lacking confidence. Not sure Hughes will make it.
Would not think Blakely will make it either.

Not a lot to get excited about in Peel either.

Shit!

Forgot about Ibbo again. Probably needs to go too.

Sutcliffe, Clarke and Ibbo.

Would dead set be better off putting Hannath out there to stand still with one of those jumping bags the trainers wear to fill space rather than waste another second on that knobbly kneed waste of space Clarke.

Had such high hopes for him and pushed his barrow a few years ago... done with him.

Barlow was VERY average at Peel today. His disposal was sub par, too many crappy handballs and high loopy kicks not to his targets advantage.
