Yes I agree Ahchee should come in for Perch. I'd put Watson ahead of Cole if Duggan doesn't play but in all honesty I don't think Schofield will be dropped as McGovern is not a lock down defender and I don't think Hurn could play on Lynch or Rewoldt.

You’re arguing something completely different for the sake of it. Nobody is saying Hutchings isn’t picked a lot. Nobody could possibly argue that. We’re saying if he doesn’t tag, we’d rather others. Some have said Ah Chee, some have said Masten.

That’s literally the entire discussion, not “well how many times has he been picked?”. You’re being deliberately obtuse, again, trying to start an argument on a topic nobody else is discussing.

The MC clearly have him best 22. In this thread, which is the “if you were on the MC what changes would you make” thread, some people are saying they’d make a change and you’re taking them to task because Hutch has played a lot of football. It’s comical.

If I had complete control of the team (careful now, we’re wading into speculation and hypotheticals) I would have Hutchings play every week. Every single week he would play. As a tagger. Are we on the same page? If (IF!!!) I had control over the changes, which is what this thread is, I would put Hutch as a tagger in every team I picked.

If I’m being told that I can play Hutch but can’t use him as a tagger, I’d just pick Masten. I might even pick Ah Chee. That’s all the discussion was ever meant to be. It was never a comment on how many times Hutch has been picked or do the MC think he’s best 22. That was never the discussion anyone else was having but you.

Your point is the match committee thinks Hutchings is best 22 yes? Not one person disagrees with that. Nobody is objecting to that. Clearly the match committee thinks he’s best 22 regardless of role.

The conversation around Masten has been interesting to observe. IMO, his value is less obvious than Hutchings'. However, I of course acknowledge his consistent selection, although I think he got dropped at one point this year? Sorry if that's unacceptably "real world".
