Chuck him at Rover... See if he does anything.

was just reading up on dyson, i think he is more of a forward flank, back flank type player, was reading on this website http://superstats.heraldsun.com.au/profile/230060.html
that he has had only 20+ posession in a game only twice before this years round 2 game against geelong and also round 4 when he had 21 posession, it states "He has never been a big ball winner, as he has had 20 or more disposals in only two games so far in his career" so everyone expecting him to get 25 posession every week, your kidding yourselves. also, he uses the ball well, hitting the target %76 of the time, look at Brent Stanton (%70) McVeigh (%70) and also Lovett (%69) the point I make is, that he does not turn it over as much as every one says he does, he needs confidence and a consistant run in the seniors, he played the first 7 games, averaging 16 posessions a game, hitting the target %77 of the time. so why do people knock him, yes he is low on confidence, so was David Hille at some stage of his career, probably when sheedy dropped him, so was angus monfries, when he was continually in and out of the seniors last year, he needs a decent role in our side, needs to make a spot his own. that is why he has not been as consistant at this stage of his career.

We dont expect him to get 25+ possies a game...

We expect him to do good, or at least do something.

BTW, 77% Efficiency and all those bullcrap stats mean nothin these days. that 77% could have been kicking backwards.

Monfries and Lonergan are going to have to have blinders for us to be in with a chance i reckon..

I would liek to see knights bring in magin, or maybe dick.. see for sure what they can do.. but it wont happen and dyson's game on the weekend demanding that he be next in line.

Despite McVeigh's bad news there may be a glimmer of good news. It looks doubtful that Richo will play because he is scheduled to be on before the game. This may mean he is out however it may mean he is still in I don't quite know.

Because he makes no impact in the midfield and with modern day midfield rotations, you need everyone contributing. He doesn't do enough and doesn't know when and where to run.

Seeing as though McVeigh and Lovett are both missing, Give Magin a game. He looked pretty good early on in the NAB cup and has followed it up with some good performances in the VFL this year. Why not?

bit strange and out their, but whatabout Bellchambers in, Hille out, massive all, surely we dont wanna go over the top with the in form ruck in the comp. rest him up for a few big games to come, and with the young (exception simonds) ruck combo of the tigers, could give him a good chance to play against a young ruckmen aswell. any minutes in the afl is good minutes isnt it.

just a thought.

as for Magin, maybe, might be worth a try, what about hooker as a key down back,

Drop a player who is in career best form and quickly becoming one of the key leaders at the club??

ok then, laycock out and Bellchambers in, jus think that this game may be able to pay off, as Simmonds is only 196cm, Bellchambers has a huge leap. Might be a good inclusion. saying that, Laycock has been doing ok when he has been asked to step in when Hille rests.

Will Welsh go to Cotchin. Or foley. Foley may be too quick for Welsh though.

Welsh to have first crack at Foley, he's vital to Richmond winning ball in close.

Bellchambers isn't ready for AFL footy yet. He only got a game against the Hawks because Laycock was injured and Ryder was needed down back.

INS: Dyson and Hooker

OUTS: Lovett, Mcveigh

Think we need an extra tall that we can swing down back or forward. Hooker has had some good form in the VFL and i'd like to see it rewarded.

You could say the same about Hooker;).

I'm not suggesting that we should bring in Bellchambers still.

Atkinson would best fit the requirments that Lovett brought.

Hooker a no no. I'd prefer Atkinson.

We are playing at the G against a young quick side. We need run as all our speedstars are out - Davey, Lovett, Winderlich, etc, etc.

We are carrying an unfit Neagle and we have a lumbering Laycock.
