This is one of the most ironic posts in Bigfooty history. You're still whipping your usual suspects after 55 touches (23 contested) and 5 goal assists in two weeks and saying he should be dropped for 'whoever' because he didn't single-handedly win us the match.

Do you think someone like Simon Phillips or Andrew Moore is going to single-handedly win us the match next week if we drop Boak for him? Do you think they'll get 27 possessions with 11 contested and get a couple of assists?

We are getting smashed every week in hit outs and its just not happening.
I would like to see 2 'fulltime' ruckmen this week.

Drop Cassisi if we could. IMO the worst captain in the league.


Surely Sal is worth a look but hopefully not a pity shot because of the reserves thing.

i have never seen boak in the same way our supporters do, you're right...

but its great how you cut in paste what you want and leave out what you dont want to see.

You have to keep young in the team, he was very impacting when he came on as sub (contributing to 2 goals). If we play him as a sub every week this could be effective.

We can use salopek and logan as runners out of defence to replace surjan and then we need a ruck combo that will work. We need both ruckman to last the game. We lost today because we started loosing clearances toward the end of the game. The Ruckman has a big thing to do with this. Renouf was tiring toward the end of the game.

I notice you left out my question about Phillips and Moore.

Do you still have a hard-on for Matt Thomas? Why don't you quote a 2 game period in his career where he's been as good as Boak has for the last two weeks. I'm sure if he gets back in the side you won't be calling for him to be dropped just because he wasn't BOG.

well I'm only trying to make room for logan, if not surjan maybe jacobs but that is a long shot.
But I absolutely agree with you Boak is a superstar waiting to burst he is a pottential game winner. The same with Hartlett but he just needs to be played in the guts

Boak was ordinary tonight and fumbled continously. He is supposed to be our number 1 midfielder but doesn't look like he can make that step to become elite. Not our worst but I definitely would like a lot more out of him.

Stats don't paint a total picture of his performances for the last two weeks. He made countless errors tonight just like a lot of others. No player should be excused for the last quarter fade out.

Broadbent should be dropped for that tackle attempt on Dangerfield in the last quarter. That summed up the day for us. He is a very good SANFL player but does not have the speed or skill required for AFL.

Can anyone shed some light on why the guy who finished 3rd in our B&F can't get a game ahead of guys that last year were either on an SANFL list or were playing in the VFL for the majority of the year? It's not like Logan is even very much older than those guys so it's not a question of playing youth.

Redden; let's face it, compared to Renouf he seems pretty good
Logan; needs to be in the team in my opinion, unsure what his role might be but would give a better effort than Pfeiffer

can Hartletts body handle playing as a centre square midfielder? Everytime he seems to play there he rips his shoulder out. He stung his shoulder in the pre season, maybe its worse than what was reported. Maybe hes playing in defence for self preservation and the hope that as a back flanker he can help set up the play. Its not working, but id say some of those points are true.

I'd go:

IN: Redden, Lobbe, Logan, Hitchcock

OUT: Renouf, Broadbent, Pfeiffer, Hartlett

Start one of the rucks as the sub so both can go 100% for their time on the ground.

i want him dropped because i feel he could be putting in alot more match winning performances i want him to put in performances that he wins the game for us like dangerfield did today i dont want him dropped because i think he is rubbish.

its not just boak same goes for cassisi hartlett i been on their case just as much this year as i have boak.

He's my buddy so I want to support him but I am growing increasingly nervous that his body will stop him reaching the level his skill suggests.

I can more than live with these changes. Although I doubt we'll see Lobbe for a few weeks yet.

Cassisi has been poor all year, we were lucky we beat the Saints as his kick across goal with 2 minutes to go which resulted in a Reiwoldt goal which was so 2011esque would have been a talking point. Some of his decisions in the Essendon game and his performance lost all my faith in him but there is no way Primus would have the balls to do that.
I just wished we would either play our players in their natural positions or not play them at all. Also, it is too hard to have both KCornes and Cassisi in the same team and although Kane is a momentum killer and does some of the stupidiest things at the critical moments I still rate him higher than Dom.
Play either one as a tagger, make it team policy that no opposition player ever racks up 35 plus possesions against us again!

With the ins, I think Primus will bring Hitchcock in as the small forward but I'd prefer Ebo if Schulz is out. We need experience down there.

I don't care who it is that comes in for Pfeiffer but someone who is going to rack up 10 tackles that will actually stick.

Rodan to be a permanent sub, our last quarter fade-outs are so embarrassing and he added so much in Rd 1 in this role.

Redden has to come in.

Which "youth" are you suggesting we bring in, given current status of who we're playing and our list status. Redden needs to come in, but there's not a lot more "youth" who can be brought in (Moore finding form, Pittard injured, Banner injured, Ah Chee not ready, Blee not ready).

Its easy to say "youth + youth", but that doesn't really tell us anything.
