Can someone tell me the reasoning behind M Crouch not playing for so long? And I don't mean "our selectors are ****", I mean the reasoning they're actually giving. Because unless it's a very good reason, it seems very strange that such an exciting prospect wouldn't be given a look in.

So as we see for the 100th time, podsiadly isn't held to the same standards as other players. Great spot for the club to be in

Lose a game? Let's drop the young guys

We are not contending, why are we persisting with players who will never get us there, ridiculous

Sando said earlier in the year that we can't have Thommo, Lyons and M. Crouch in the same team.

Seems to suffer due to our set ways for our mids.

Makes you wonder how far off the pace all our other 3rd tall/KPF depth are...

Not including Lynch who is done for the season.

Has this been confirmed yet or still rumours?

If true I'm surprised it hasn't been a news story yet, same with Crouch boys playing together. We have had no "good news stories" this week after the loss to the Kangas.

Sloane expressing his desire to stay a Crow was really good news :)

Thank god Pods stays in.

Pods is the archetypical footballer. Contested fwd marking, midfield possession gathering, defensive zoning offing ness. Pods can do it all, did I forget to mention possession gathering mid, hard tagging/run with. If there's a need in a game at the highest level and you need a solution for anything, then we have the bloke for you. First name PODS, last name PODS. Mere mortals can guess the middle effing name. In case you have no idea about football, the answer is PODS. PODS, PODS, PODS.

PODS.

It's ok Thommo will be gone soon, Lyons too at the end of the year and we will be left with m crouch whoes hardly played.

Can't help but feel that the Reilly inclusion is really gonna bite us on the arse when the tanking hearing eventually comes around.

Us: "We were firmly of the belief that Brent Reilly would improve our round 23 side in 2015".

Prosecution: "Your next 15 draft picks please".
With Reilly playing and leaving Thompson on Ziebell last week, I believe we have the solid foundations necessary for the insanity defence.

Hi,
No-one seems to have noticed we've gone-in too small in defense. As well as Riewoldt & Stanley, Spencer White is a 196cm tall forward with athletic ability (Kicked 5 in the Magoos the other week). Sure, it's only his second game, but with Rutten and Talia busy trying to contain St Nick, White would have been a great match-up for Sam Siggins on debut. Instead, it will be up to Ricky Henderson or maybe Reilly. Hope Rutten doesn't get subbed-out again.

Talia can take nick without ruttens help. Nicks biggest asset would be trucks biggest weakness and that's getting on his bike.

Except Siggins is in hospital.

I have a theory that they are giving him a run at the Rising star award next year.

My guess is it's managing his body. He got more of a go than most 1st year players, except the ready to go or bigger bodied type of players.

Perfect time to bring him in though, to measure his progress.

The rising star theory is plausible too.

How about dem deft taps of his?!

Nothing, he has to earn his spot.................good God, this club is weird.

Reilly for Thompson, Kerridge for Laird? Are they the likely changes? McKay for Lyons probably.
Lyons who had the most Goals, 4 more disposals than Wright and more inside 50's. Knowing our coaching panel you are right!

Nah you just don't get the modern coaching gig. If you really want to be seen as a good coach you have to look beyond the obvious.
Talia to Stanley
Rutten to White

and the big move

Henderson to Riewoldt!!

You know, because of his mobile attributes, running power and general ability as a defender. It's the perfect match up.
Just like Massie on Buddy. What could go wrong?

None of this will matter. Richmond will beat Sydney and sew up a finals berth. We will parade Reilly and Rutten around (and bring Porps in as a late inclusion) with cheap kicks across half back, win by about 20 points and declare it a terrific day for the footy club.
"Well done chaps. better luck next year"

^^^^ I would laugh if it wasnt so predictable. However I dont think Richmond will win, knowing our season Collingwood will
