If we're going to bring in a completely unnecessary 4th tall forward my vote goes to Mitch Brown, I'm thinking we just drop him in the forward pocket or something, can't really have that big an affect on the team surely?
**** it, bring back a clearly unfit michael gardener who can't bend over, and play him out of the goal square over our second highest goal scorer. What can go wrong?

Season 4 tormented me a little bit. I have hopes 5 can turn it around.

I'm also thinking we raid the banana stand for Gaff's new contract.
Yeah there’s lots I haven’t watched. All of season 3 and parts of 1 and 2. But watching season 4 now and trying to make sense of it all.

Such a good show but I need to watch it all in chronological order

You absolutely do. The biggest joke in the whole series is that it's all a callback to older jokes.

It's one player, how much could it cost, $10?

Is he really like for like though (I'm genuinely asking)? Brander looks to me to be an out and out KPP where as Waterman is more a 3rd tall with a very good tank who gets up the ground. Would have thought Oscar Allen is more like for like with Waterman.

This year Brander would be close to like for like with Waterman. Brander still is reasonably light built to cover the ground. Playing as the third tall suits whwre his delelopment is at today.

Sure in another couple of years Brander will grow into that true Kennedy replacement.

Oscar is very similar to Waterman but hasnt earned a game where Brander has been consistently good.

Feel like they should give parto a go in masto’s role. They should give him a few weeks in that position to see where he’s at.

Many permutations possible to replace Masto, Nelson being one of many, but I'd like Watson to slot in there, what with it being indigenous round. I'm sure Liam Ryan would love to be there too - reports say he is flying around the training track, so I would not rule it out entirely.

Purely bringing someone in because they are indigenous and it's indigenous round rather than based on performance is Racist.

Did they beat the shit out of Richmond and then blitz them before Richmond knew what was happening? No. They hammered weakened sides. When we did that in the past, people called us flat-track bullies.

I'm not scared of Melbourne. I'm not scared of any team. I think some of our road trips will be challenging if other teams are good enough to force us out of our comfort zone. But we can win every game from here on. We match or surpass every team for talent and if we play the way we played against Richmond in the second half, no team will get within five goals of us. That was awesome. That was 1991 shit. It's go time. It's go time. Forget this fluff of recent years where we just run around and everyone gets a go at it but when the other side steps up we go to water. Nah. That's not how we roll in 2018. We're tough. We hit hard. We smash you and then when we get the ball we leave you in pieces. The storm is coming.

Is that sustainable? Can we do it on command in Melbourne? Those are open questions. But we also saw Plan B against Hawthorn the week after we took a shit on Richmond's face. We should have won that game by six goals. But in the past two years we would have shat the bed and lost it. We all saw those fade-outs. Instead we went the other way to the extreme. Instead of getting run over in the last quarter, we stopped Hawthorn getting it past the wing for 15 minutes. That was an ugly way to win but that's how you beat Sydney in Sydney. We're harder this year.

We're the real deal. We don't need to think about our opponents. We need to make sure that our connection, tactics and personnel are good to go when it matters.

Tell the naysayers to get in line behind Robert Walls. We're going to roll through you like wet shit.

The storm is coming.
Love the optimism, agree with just about nearly all of some of it, we might get done a couple times but we've had just about everything thrown at us and weathered the storm - Pies at the G (the G argument is dead IMHO-we train on similar dimensions and Optus oval), the Crows, Swans at home (are good), Demons( mystery ball?)..have a hunch this team will go to another level in the 2nd half, when shit really comes together, certainly for finals. Harder, smarter, faster for longer...
(*but it's the Demons game that most interests me now)

Plenty of wind or just damp conditions?

High chances of flash flooding.

It's sounds like I'll be urinating in my pants. This euphemism isn't working out how I hoped.
