Sheed & hutchings were beyond terrible today, Masten close, saved by that goal that happened to be yet another butchered kick.

Was only half watching due to hangover, what happened to Masten?
He kicked a goal and told the world he had no idea what he was doing. It was the parallel universe version of Akermanis' "oh my" double. Masten was like "how the **** did that happen?"

When you get in the end zone, act like you've been there before.

Nah I saw that miraculous accident but I meant what happened to him injury wise as people have him in their outs as injured

wouldn't mind if jk was rested tbh he needs a rest and i wanna see brander out there asap

I reckon Willie is in trouble but hopefully common sense prevails there.

Hutchings I thought stepped it up in the last quarter so he's probably being unfairly criticised for that one coach killer in the 3rd.

Shuey for Ah Chee is probably enough. If Willie goes bring in Petch.

Out: Ah Chee (unlucky)
In: Shuey

B: Sheppard, Barrass, Hurn
HB: Duggan, McGovern, Jetta
C: Redden, Gaff, Masten
HF: Cripps, Darling, Waterman
F: LeCras, Kennedy, Lycett
R: Naitanui, Shuey, Yeo
I: Cole, Sheed, Hutchings, Rioli
E: Mellen, Ainsworth, Partington, Nelson (held over)

Pretty sure that's the same side I named last week.

Ah Chee unlucky, Hutchings the other possibility to make way for Shuey but I think he gets a run-with role on Steven.

Sheed maybe the other chance, butchered it a bit today.

He came off in the first half getting treatment behind his knee. Came on and off a couple of times because of it. Commentators said he looked hindered and didn't cover anywhere near the same amount of kms he normally does.

Surely you'd give Shuey extra week and the bye to build fitness and ensure he's right for 2nd half of year...

Simpson said the opposite.

Same goes for someone like Kennedy, unless he's got something that needs to heal there is no point in resting him when he needs to continue to build form and sustain match fitness.

Sounds like we might rest some players.

WEST Coast coach Adam Simpson has flagged the possibility of giving key players a mid-season break.

Simpson said some players were struggling with fitness following the hard-fought win against Hawthorn, with the ladder leaders facing a home game against St Kilda next Saturday night before their bye.

"We had a couple of sore boys who managed to get through the game. We'll have to look at that and see how they pull up," Simpson said.

"They've been going pretty hard for a while now, so that's why it's so important with these kids coming through play their role when they come in."
I wouldn't be surprised if maybe Yeo and Sheppard are given a breather.

I think Shep has been battered for a while, but unless we need to leave as is,
Only play Shuey if he 110% ready we are 9/1 we don't need to be silly.
