Mmmm...Premiershipalicious *drooling noises*
Most certainly we also have battled hardened warriors at the coalface with Redden and Gaff. Speaking of Redden, i saw his press conference with this massive bruise under his eye. I get the feeling the tougher the contest the better he gets love it

In: Shuey
Out: Masten (inj)
Interesting, if Masten is out who have the coaches got earmarked for his role? Won't be Shuey, Has Ah Chee got the k's in his legs or do they push Sheed out there. Masten being out may mean there has to be 2 changes. Maybe Petrucelle for Masten and Hutch or Sheed for Shuey.

Will they tag Steven? If yes I don't think Hutchings can do it as he is too fast for him. So out - Hutchings and obviously out Masten.

Yeo just said he's playing and doesn't see Naitanui getting a rest either.

Looks like out - Hutchings and Masten
In - Shuey and Pet

Rotate Pet, Ah Chee, Rioli through the wing in Masten's place

Feels like a decent chance to give JK an extended break as he's looked not 100% this season and to give brander a game. I really would like to take this saints game at home as a chance to rest whoever is genuinely not 100% and an important player.

Out: Masten (INJ), JK

In: Shuey, Brander

Yep agree Jk plays and managed toward the end of the year. He plays the stay at home forward against a small defence, starts clunking some marks and kicks a bag this week.

Out: Masten (inj), Hutchings (unlucky)
In: Shuey, Petruccelle

B: Sheppard, Barrass, Hurn
HB: Duggan, McGovern, Jetta
C: Cripps, Gaff, Redden
HF: Rioli, Darling, Waterman
F: LeCras, Kennedy, Lycett
R: Naitanui, Shuey, Yeo
I: Cole, Sheed, Ah Chee, Petruccelle
E: Mellen, Hutchings, Partington, Nelson

Cripps to move up to the wing to play Masten's role, he's got the next biggest tank in the side, replaced by Petch.

Shuey for Hutchings based on team balance, sorry Hutch.

Yeo had 28 touches, If that's what he can do injured I am happy for him to stay. How did you come up with that conclusion that he is playing inured?? sore maybe but no injured player can play in middle and have that kind of impact. Once again, what evidence do you have to support masten is injured??
His limited minutes was playing with a hamstring strain. Did ok to run out the game but it's been confirmed he'll miss untl after the bye.

We all saw Yeo's knee get twisted, not making things up.

JK doesn't need a rest.

Masten did well to keep playing and help the rotations, it's a good time to do a hammy in a way with the bye coming up and it's low grade. I hope Shuey can come in and they can just re-jig things a touch.

Good to hear about Yeo training without bandages, hopefully the one change and playing a 90% full strength squad.

Perhaps because he hasn't played much footy? The bye is next week FFS, all these calls for players to be rested because they "look" like they could do with a rest is ridiculous when we have a week off conning up. Keep in mind, if we rest someone this week, itll effectively be 3 weeks off which is a long time without a game of footy.

Gaff may have to actually play on the wing without Masten, or at least more often, than the inside-outside onballer he has been this year. That's a shame but Shuey is a pretty good replacement as an onballer.

Agree that Hutch doesn't have a natural role for the Saints and should make way.

Pleasing that Pet had a good WAFL game to earn the spot.

Sheed might get given a role to play mainly on the wing, try to get him to get some confidence back, he's been a bit down, Duggan/Jetta will fill in some minutes out there too. Hutchings will keep his place for now. No one wants a rest, everyone wants to be part of a winning team, they don't want to risk their spot/form by taking a rest.

I see us making pretty much only forced changes as long as we're mostly winning.
