At this point in the season I just want to see the guys who haven't had a shot yet/we're expecting to be best 22 next year. Hope Kentfield gets a debut before the seasons out.

I'd definitely be happy if he gets a game, but he was in hospital for a big chunk of preseason so I'm also not against letting him get his fitness really solid for a better crack next year.

Sestan and Mentha were my big hopes, but Sestan got his face smashed in at training last week and I don't reckon they pick Mentha this year either.

On Kentfield, as many have suggested he probably would struggle with the extra fitness required at AFL level vs. VFL against a bunch of semi-professional players.

But he has shown a lot of promise in the air this season, especially since returning forward. I’ve not seen too much from him at ground level however.

I have a theory on Maynard, that is a suspension any time of the year, but because it's finals the AFL tend to let them go through to the keeper if they can. If that happened round 2 in a season he would have missed weeks for sure.

Remember this well. Was back in the day where if you got three fines you got a suspension. Cotchin had already been fined twice and this was the worst incident of the lot. Was ridiculous he didn't get cited. Probably the most blatant let off ever.

Culley spent most of the season playing on the wing at Casey. They moved him to be a primary onballer in recent weeks.

I can’t really see who he would replace in either of those positions.
