Tough to pick the changes at the moment.

Wouldn't mind EMac given some time in the twos. Butler also. Though I'm not sure who else you could bring in.

We are also crying out for a small defender, maybe someone like Davis?

Maybe from left field but I wouldnt mind seeing Jordan Jones get a game.

Is there any chance of Scott Selwood or is he done for a while?

Cox & Kerr are already ruled out.

Not sure that anyone is an automatic out but maybe we want to get some more run into the side Kennedy, Seaby, Lynch, Hansen all running through the forward line at times is too big....

I am not sure that Houlihan did enough, or more particularly, did enough for Woosh - he was extraordinarily outside.

Cockie wasnt great.

But really, the only possible ins apart from Selwood (if fit) are Swift (which I would like) and Stenglein and Fletcher. Both possible but not sure how that helps us going forward.

Will be interesting to see if Freo pick Sandi & Pav.

Possible Outs: Houlihan, Butler

On Butler, today was another game where he had something like 12 possessions. He plays in the middle. I just can't see him improving. I hope I'm wrong.

And we got to drop one of talls, we need more runners.

chad fletcher got 41 touches in the wafl, he should get a game
nah, im just joking

But he was getting 35 - 40 touches every week before his last Eagles game (a couple of weeks back) and when promoted he was horrible.

I agree he might play. Our mids were killed v Port and it may be a last game for a loyal servant plus he has a fair bit of Derby experience.

I just wouldnt be putting him in BECAUSE of the 41 touches but rather for that experience. I probably still wouldnt pick him but the cupboard is getting pretty bare now.

IN : Nicoski, Swift
OUT: Butler, Cockie

Why would you take out Cockie? We've got much more pressing issues than him, he has been impressive for the most part.

I really don't want to see Fletcher back in, but wouldn't mind it if Stenglein did come back in.

OUT: Butler, EMac (needs some time in the twos i think)
IN: Stenglein, Nico

Out: Butler, One of Lynch Hansen or Naitanui, Spangher
In: Nicoski, Stenglein, Davis

I reckon out of the talls Naitanui goes out, With Seaby and Lynch in the ruck and Brown down back. Too many talls in the forward line isn't the best thing. Not many teams have 3 talls in the one forward line, and for me we have seen this a lot for West Coast. They might be in good form but the forward line can't function with 3 or 4 talls IMO.
Butler is really struggling, you've gotta give him time though. Next season would have to be make or break for him.
Spangher goes out, I think he is in that awkward height bracket where he is too small to play on the bigger guys yet too big or slow to play on the smaller guys. I know Hunter is the same size but I don't think he has the body type to do what Hunter has been able to do. Still I'd drop him and have Brown in the backline.
Wirra is an interesting one, he's struggling atm, wouldn't mind seeing him around half forward for a change.

So many things you could change for this week, but surely we need to win a derby!!

In our future Brown plays in the forward line and NN plays ruck and forward.

I am unsure that we benefit much going forward by dropping NN and playing Brown out of position in order to accommodate Hansen and Lynch.

Lynch will never be more than a stop gap ruckman and his forward days appear behind him. Hansen has played 2 handy to average games but offers nowhere near as much as Brown going forward.

I understand what you are saying but think that its against the announced policy of "if in doubt play the kids".

That said, they will probably keep Hansen going because he is in the shop front to try and maximise his trade value.

I dont see why anyone would want to take Cockie out, he was easily one of the better players out there today and still one of the younger guys.

Where's BJones? Injured or just gone to WAFL and forgotten? He impressed me last year, but just hasn't been able to get back in the side this season.

Played against Melbourne in round 14, but did his hamstring inside the first few minutes with two disposals. Before that though he'd played from round 2 - 9 then i think he was dropped

Why would you swap Masten for Fletcher lol they are the same player.

Glass out lol what are you talking about !

When does Beau Wilkes get a crack?

Masten groin is sore after such a huge effort, time to bring in Chad for his last game

Glass feels bad for bumping Westhoff - self imposed ban - JJones looked good on the weekend bring him in

I'd like to see Ben Mckinley get another go plus he's not a tall forward so that's good. But his defensive pressure lacks, how was he in the WAFL on the weekend? I think he's still got potential and i personally wouldn't trade him, being leading goal kicker and rookie of the year last year, he obviously has something to offer to the club still.

I'd like us to give JoJo and Ash Smiff a game or two this year to give them a taste of AFL. It'll be dangling a carrot for next season by providing just a sample of what it's like and giving them something to aspire too, as well as providing additional motivation for them to make the 1's.

Scooter didn't look that good playing for Perf in the WAFL earlier in the year, but when he plays for West Coast, he looks like he belongs. I'd like to see what JoJo and Smiff can do in the big league.
It's a good time for such experimentation considering there's nothing to lose this season.
