He’s a decent player and plays a key role just like the rest of the 22. It’s your ‘most important defender’ statement that I disagree with.

The reason I said most important is that, in my opinion he is the defender we can least afford to lose.

He can cover for the other defenders more readily than they can cover for him. He can cover talls, mediums and even smalls at a pinch. He is solid in the air, on the ground, and provides rebound.

Good single role players can be important too, but solid multi-role players that give you added flexibility and resilience are harder to replace.

1 ruck, prefer 2, may be round one next year
We do have a lot of defenders; they can push forward like last game
IMO best side for the year, ‘Bevo’s timing’
