Can't see them dropping JJ after kicking 3 goals 2 games ago.
I don't think they will bring back Langdon, but if they do, it will be for Petch.
I didn't think Petch really deserved a game this week to begin with, they seem to be playing around a bit with that small forward position.

Did you watch the game on Saturday? Brander is a wing who rotates on HFF, let's keep him there and extend his contract.
I suggested a 3 way ruck as a chop out only.

Mcgovern, Allen and Brander. 5 to 10 mins a quarter tops each. 4th quarter goes to best performed 2nd stringer.

It's not much. Don't over react.

Just ribbing you, all good.

Pretty straight forward this week, XON in for Shuey.

No point changing the small forward set up once again, Petch had moments, a few important tackles.

Let him have an extended run. Langdon hasn't had a chance to do anything for a call back and JJ will hold his spot as he is the most skilful of the three.

Whether we like it or not WC have invested in Petruccelle. It's in games against the league's soft kill's, such as St Kilda, where he should be getting games. In tough fixtures you go all-in and play your best team, but this week is an another opportunity to get games into the likes of Petruccelle, Brander, etc to fast-track them toward 50 games.

Makes you wonder why they dropped him for round 2

WC probably wanted to play him, given they play him at times when they probably shouldn't. But not even they could reasonably explain away how utterly shizen Pet was in round 1. Most of us know playing HFF is the graveyard when it comes to stats, but still...

After a re-watch, I've gone from thinking Petch was average but better than last time, to pretty good. Was certainly better than Jones - who also did a few good things when the game was hot. Unlucky with a couple of bad HTB decisions and should have finished with two goals.

This year (apart from his mare in round 1) Petch looks to be harder at the ball, marking better, getting lost less and physically stronger. He's above Langdon for mine and Winder should play a couple more WAFL games, can see him getting gassed at AFL level.

Out: Shuey, Petch
In: Exxon, Langdon

Big big big big Waterman fan but it’s all getting very tall. Waterman for Brander down the line perhaps but don’t drop Piggy after that.
I don't think there's any issue going tall under the roof at Docklands, "literally can't go **** up".

We are serious, but this week is not assured by any means. They are still a capable side, will be hurt and very fired up to prove a point. I expect Ratten will make some adjustments to their game plan, but whether or not they can take affect in the space of a week remains to be seen. We should hopefully be able to withstand it and play our style.

As it is, 50-50 game. We are on the road after all, that’s our lot in life in this “competition”

I'm enjoying us this season. Our old farts and Nic Nat are on. Lets see this shit unfold. A coupla others joining in would be lovely and a 35 possession 4 goal average cameo by Rioli wouldn't hurt.

I’ll admit that the Facebook stream on Saturday was the first time I’ve seen Winder play. But one thing is for sure, he just looks a natural footballer which is probably the antithesis of Petruccelle who is an explosive athlete masquerading as an AFL footballer at this early stage of his career.

That’s basically a verbose way of saying I wouldn’t be fussed by a change of Winder for Petch.

The saints will be copping it all week (already are)....typical just when we are playing them.

Yep, the media are trying to fire them up. Seems to happen often against us. Just have to go harder than them and the win is ours. Damn shame about Shuey - I wouldn't be against debuting Trew for this game as his inside craft and tackling might offset Shuey's loss. Go an extra mid, one less forward.

Yes Rioli coming back this week would be nice, no chance lol. Or did you mean Ryan 😛

I am enjoying us this season too. I guess it is more just annoyance, I mean it is what it is, but honestly look at our opposition. 12 million in debt, we (WCE) have to “equalise” just to keep these teams afloat. And then here they are, struggling to find form, but in amongst a 5 week run of games at their home ground. Must be nice. And so if we go there, get ambushed, maybe lose by a goal or two and have to listen to all the usual rubbish, can’t win away blah blah.

Rant over! So in summary, any win will do this week, I’d take a one pointer lol

Yep, O’Neill is the obvious next cab off the rank and will likely be the inclusion for Shuey. Was stiff to be dropped and went back and racked them up at WAFL level.

But in terms of tackling, inside grunt/crash ‘n bang and having a bit of campaigner in him Trew seems a more like for like change despite being only a first year player.

I expect the saints to come hard after what they copped. We have no Shuey I think Saints will win by a few goals.

Are Failmantle on the cusp of a dynasty as well?

Fold the Club ?

Are swear you're an alias of someone that got no enjoyment out of any game and was banned from the board, 1 or 2 years ago.

Name escapes me
