You would have to think Masto know's he is on thin ice to perform.
Anything below a good game will put him not only on the chopping block but the trade ship as well.

Happy enough with this team. At least it feels like we are going over to win now and I can be satisfied with that at least if the season does end on Sunday. Can't wait.

Finally!! It was long-winded and had to be disguised over a few weeks but our match committee finally left Priddis out of the team without the excuse of an injury. And are they finally waking up to modern footy going in with a smaller line-up? Bout time they realized that the run and spread from the congestion requires quicker smaller players in todays game. We've been too tall for far too long.

Starting to have faith again.

Named 3 in the backline. Don't worry Eric can play small.....Not.

Or McGovern plays the same forward-ruck role he played last week (which is pretty much a given since there's no one else to support Petrie) and we only play two tall backs.

Sad thing is our season is technically not over if we lose on Sunday. We could win our last 3 and make it still.

Not a fan of Masten in the team, but not really sure who we could have picked except for Wellingham, who is appears to be on the outer at the moment.

No Priddis is good, give him a farewell game against Carlton at home and then park him.

Due to the hilarity that is this season we could lose Sunday, win our last 3 and still finish as low as 10th on 13 wins, which is as unprecedented as missing the top 4 on 16 wins.

I just hope this season doesn't end up like 2014 where we have to rely on results going our way in the last round, they don't and we are left playing a dead rubber on a Sunday.

Which we will win only to jump ahead of two others teams and screw up our draft picks. Then on draft night best available happens to be a HBF instead of a JK replacement or elite mid resulting in a never ending state of mediocrity...

We pretty much have to shut out our negativity and expect to finish the season strong. We are currently giving ourselves a fairly good chance with the hard calls we've made

Marsden is a very easy player to dislike. I don't even think about what pick he originally was, couldn't care less, he's just a campaigner.

The soft, fragile way he plays seems to rile people up because it epitomizes the thing which the club is being heavily criticized for recently. Our lack of leadership, hardness, "intent", heart, hunger, or just general willingness to win is routinely demonstrated in his game and it gets on supporters nerves.

Whether it's a panic handball, a half arsed contest, a weak tackle attempt, getting the ball on the turnover and just generally having no game awareness or interest in winning, so he might turn around and chip it backwards. He's that sort of guy, winning isn't high on his priorities.

The sort who is seemingly happy with the club finishing at the bottom of the ladder, so long as he is still having fun playing and collecting his pay check.

Is he shit at footy? No. Is he better than me? Bloody oath. Could i give him a Dustin? Bloody oath :hand: Does he run hard and kick the footy well? Yes.

But we know what we're getting with him, and it's not what this club needs. Depth is fine, but we need to move on from Chris Marsden.

You forgot to add in that we have a bit of a dead cat bounce and make the Grand final next year to make everyone think we are in Premeirship mode but our soft under belly is exposed and we never get over it or improve

Bloody terrible effort by NicNat & Lycett leading our ruck.
