Changes vs St Kilda

I reckon Dees this week, will go in with no change ( unless there are injuries )

Effort against Hawks was pretty good and no need to drop anyone I would have
thought.
I'd agree but you have to play Jamar. He was BOG for Casey and PJ and Martin would get slaughtered against King and Gardiner. Plus two legitimate ruckmen should be played each week to get the best idea of where are ruck department is at.

After watching last half of casey game, Jamar wasn't BOG and shouldn't come back in. Everybody talking kicking efficency Jamar missed about 5 kicks in a row and was out played. Give game time to a kid instead.

Petterd for Bartram only if they decide we need another run with.

What about Morton on Goddard? Yes Morton plays wide, but it may be a good opportunity to plonk him on the bloke and tell him to sit on him and learn.

Doesn't matter if he was BOG or not, PJ will get absolutely slaughtered by King and Gardiner on his own and I don't think Martin will be much help against them. Jamar needs to come back in for his rucking alone, anything else he can do is a bonus in my honest opinion.

People have been saying that about PJ for last three weeks andit never happens. I remember three weeks ago against West Coast people were saying to rush another ruck in or we'll get killed. But we didn't. Just cause other teams play two doesn't mean we need to at moment.

B: Matthew Whelan, Matthew Warnock, Jared Rivers
HB: James Frawley, Paul Wheatley, Jack Grimes,

NO WHEATLEY, just no.....

And dropping Miller? Considering our lack of forward options, losing Miller makes no sense. Even if he's only a B-grade key forward, it's better than nothing.

Deegirl on Demonology says "Robertson and Petterd OUT for Jamar and Bell". She's hardly ever wrong for some reason. Sounds fair enough, last week Robbo was happy to spend his time close to goal and try to out-strength Campbell Brown man on man instead of leading out. I hardly think those were his instructions. As short as he might be Brown has had the better of bigger players than Robbo. There may have been criticism of his attitude during the week with which he didn't agree.

I don't mind Robbo out, but Bell as his replacement? Confusing. Newton? Hughes? Watts?

A lot of pressure on PJ and Stef to kick goals if so.

Robbo and Petterd out = 3/4 goals out.
Who is going to kick them in their absence? Bell and the Russian aren't.

yer she was right

Oh please that is ridiculous, who the hell is going to kick our f***ing goals?

Unless they change the rules and allow handballing through the goals to count for 6 points then I wouldn't be relying on Miller.

Great that Belly's back though, looking forward too seeing him play again.

What obvious reasons? He had ONE I repeat ONE bad game and in that bad game he still managed 2.2. Anybody who wants him dropped is off their rocker.

Bruce is not a terrible user of the footy, yes at times he really butchers his kicks but by hand he is very reliable. Played pretty well on the weekend and didn't butcher anything that I saw. However if we are dropping players because according to you they are "terrible users of the footy" we wouldn't have a side.

So far you've given no reasons to support why Bruce and Robertson should be dropped.

Looks like the Club agreed with Grandmaster B re Robbo hey Dez

I think Robbo is very unlucky our forward line has looked better when he has been in the team we have averaged more goals with him in the team, I also think it has helped Bate out as well.

Unless he has been dropped for not doing the team thing that we dont know about.

Miller is getting rewarded for sub-standard performances. He tries hard but he cost us 2 to 3 goals in the first half last week due to his lack of skill and decision making ability under pressure. His kicking for goal is atrocious - why not try something different because Miller is not, and will never be, the answer. Last weekend there were times when I wondered if I was watching Miller or Al Nicholson - that's how frustrating it was!

You've got to be kidding Robertson dropped. I was at the game on Sunday night (one of the few dee's supporters that were) and his efforts were not at all poor, they were at the same standard as all other forwards were and he kicked 2 goals.
Im gunna be pissed off if they play Paul Johnson out of the square to compensate. The only logical reason I can see if playing Stef Martin at full forward.
Also lets get ready for Bell to not get a touch, by looks of it he will be playing the roll Petterd has been so will be ruined.
Who's Bate been sleeping with to keep getting a game? One decent effort all year against the Dogs and he's a lock, joke.

I agree that the team has looked better with Robbo in it but he has to really focus on doing the team thing and not trying for the constant spectacular leap or freakish goal. I think the kick for goal when he was lying on the ground summed that up and maybe when he comes back next week he will be focussed on the lead and chest mark with the 'ocassional speccy'. That'd be just great.

I was with Flashhh all the way until the farcical Bate comment.

Bate's been good. He has not been helped by the lack of key forward targets. I think that's been his major undoing. He's still been working hard nonetheless.

Bate would thrive in a team like a Brisbane that has Brown/Bradshaw as key targets. Hopefully, as Watts develops, and if we can find another Key Forward that's not Brad Miller, then i reckon Bate will be immense...

Agreed. He will no doubt play his best football as a 3rd or 4th forward and will be one of the most important players in our 2012 premiership.
