Adz just says tightness, not that big a deal.

Buss is just out to not go too tall in the conditions.

Reckon Gags has to be sub from that bench.
Poulter and Davidson are too good a runners to start sub. McNeil and Vanders been too important.
Where did you read that? Just says injured on the team announcement.

I think Gallagher can be a decent player.

Needs to sharpen up his disposal and is prone to a mistake, but his speed and strength at his size can be really useful.
Love his ability to break out of congestion with speed. Makes things happen, as you say just needs to fix up his disposal.

Would like Buss to play more, but conditions and opposition dictate we are better with a runner.

Adz being out wants me to flip tables though.

Thought I heard somewhere that Bevo said Buss will be in the 22 this week? Did we get wind of Read being out?
Not sure but they've gone very short and it seems like we got wind of what they were doing.

If they try stretch us we can just send Buks back.

Disappointing for Adz. What’s that the 4th calf this year?
Might just about be done.
Why are folks so eager to write off a player when they hit the wrong side of 30? He’s always had injuries and always come back from them. When he comes back and plays like shit then maybe have a chat about hanging up the boots.

I don't mind Gallagher, he hasn't really looked close to it at AFL level for the most part but I think there is a player there

I would have preferred they keep letting him dominate the VFL for a couple more weeks before moving him up but we'll see how it goes

If we are happy to ride with JJ despite many missed games over recent seasons, no reason why Treloar shouldn't get the same respect. He spoke about playing another year or two after this, so clearly he has found passion for the game and is enjoying himself. So obviously if he gets his calf right, the heart and ability are both still there.

Yeah tightness is exactly what they would say to downplay anything, i'll wait for the injury update Monday but I would be shocked if it's not another setback and a few weeks out unfortunately. Hope i'm wrong :'(

On his podcast, Treloar said he had pulled up sore.

He said, 'Gee wees Louise' when referring to how sore he was. He stated if he feels like this after every match, he won't play many more matches.

ADZ out again thought he should have been eased back as sub last week. Not sure it would have made a difference but it might stop soreness due to game overload.

I don't think it's soreness guys, literally pulled up towards the end of training with a calf issue. Absolute hope is just tightness and being cautious but we'll see next week...

Unfortunate for Buss because he’s looked ok so far at AFL level but our structure looked perfect last week with the balance of talls and smalls. JOD playing far too well to drop for him

32yo with history of calf injuries who’s had setback after setback since September last year. Having concerns for his long term playing future is not unreasonable.

Once they’re chronic it can be very difficult to make it back. Jack Martin and Harley Bennell are good examples of this in recent years.

Gags coming in probably gives us our most sensible sub option now? Him or Poulter but I expect Gallagher as sub.

Treloar himself even said he wasn't sure if this might be it after his 3rd one and wondering if his body would let him get back to full fitness so it's not completely unreasonable.
