When duggan fills out he will be a very strong player. already strong for his size and have seen him take big hits and bring down some massive players. I don't know why but theres a bit of rory sloane about duggan.

To be fair on lucas he has been dominating the two's for a while now. might not be the most polished player going around but he definitely deserves this. It also ensures hutch gets a full game and so does nelson and a young player like a cole and lamb don't miss another game.

Lucas would be travelling to give Hutchings a full game in the WAFL.

I just don't understand the reasoning. Hutch who is a strong inside player who matches up well against the Swans stays home and Lucas comes in.
Maybe Simmo is doing a double fake or something. Guess we just have to wait and see.

Purely speculation on my part but;

Priddis replaces Hutch that makes sense.
Lucas in to cover Gaff if he doesn't get up.

Maybe the thought process internally is they can match it inside with the swans and want to exploit the outside game?

Hence Lucas instead of Hutch?

Hutchings has missed a bit of footy in the early part of the season. If he's not in the 22 then it's far better for him to have a certain game for EP than to be sitting in the stands in Sydney.

I'm only guessing too but I would speculate that it means no one is under an injury cloud, which is great for Pridda and Gaff.

Let's face it - they don't really want to play Lucas. He's just there in case someone busts an ankle in the warm-up. That does happen, but it's rare. This gives us some cover in the worst case scenario but doesn't force anyone we might need soon to lose match fitness.

Neither will play. They prefer Hutch to play WAFL so he is an option next week.

This was my conclusion too. Great vote of confidence for the boys but they better ****ing deliver because they don't have a great rack record against better midfields esp away from home.

Backed Dugg and FMac in. I'm not going to complain although I saw it a bit differently coming in.

If Frase can towel Sinkers in the ruck...the melty-ness will be something special :D

Somewhat concerned about Lucas on the plane. Gaff must be in doubt of getting up.

Hutch or a even a wet cardboard box with wheels would be better anywhere on the ground instead of Lucas, because you can sure as hell expect it to be coming straight back to the opposition if Lucas has it..

interesting what they will be doing with nelson. Might rest him this week after he has had a few bruising games.

Tippets their number 1 ruckmen.

WTF? Why the hell would Kookas be on the plane and not Hutch or Nelson who played last week? That is a baffling decision..

Because they'd rather Lucas miss a game this week and Hutchings and Nelson get game time with East Perth.
