The eagles list mcinnis at 197cm and 96kg, surely this isnt right. Fmac looks to be over 100kgs. If he is 96kgs he will be giving up a whopping 12kgs to tippet.

That might Tippett in Sydney's favour.

(as an aside I ummed and ahhed about whether to post this. In the end I thought it was the right thing to do)

I'm happy with our team

Wellingham and priddis are gold ins

With Shepard, Wellingham yeo and Jetta all coming out of the back line we have some genuine leg speed now

Well if our inside mids can get first use we should chop them up, if not then all that run is for nil.

Are you joshing me.....

Who is swans #1 though? Theyll probably put sinclair against naitanui as he is cleaning blokes up this year and tippett is too $$$$ to risk that? Even bigger advantage than normal this week though swans have some of the smartest extractors in the league to shark it.

Teams have done a lot of work on Naitanui's tap work and they do shark off his good work. What I don't get he why he doesn't switch it up more. The subtle tap to Shuey is predictable so to the tap to Priddis. Sure use it but not too much, mix it up a bit. We should be running three blokes off the square to a designated point now and again and he belts it 20m forward to them.

Also I've notices that our mids (Shuey / Priddis / Gaff) aren't tall (Fyfe)and the opposition monsters them when we get too predictable. Maybe use Shuey as a decoy early on and tap it to Redden or Yeo instead. Opposition will be sitting on Shuey early because he's our best burst / take away mid. Mix it up boys.:thumbsu:

Yeah I think we are way too one dimensional and stubborn with our stoppage structures. Hope they give Cox the boot if he isn't the right person for the job, and they don't just give him the job as a development opportunity.

so much this ^^
nothing infuriates me more than watching Naitanui dominate against the opposing ruckman to then tap it straight down the throat of the oppositions mids. It's far too predictable. There's no point being the best tap ruckman in the league if you aren't tapping to the right coloured jumper. I'm not sure if it's our own mids letting themselves down or the predictability of Nics ruck work that's failing but something has to change.

The biggest problem is we are playing a shit side at home and all our muppets will star and everybody will be happy again.
Better than playing like muppets against a shit side and being beaten at home I guess?
