Yeah I'm not understanding why the bother to stop him being used to set up from defence..
If I recall correctly he had a good pre-season in that way? and maybe some have reacted quickly to forward tag him..

Maybe if we held the ball if the f50 we wouldn't need to worry about this.

The swans dont have alot of break the lines pace so we need to strategise this one...!

The guy is as soft as butter the second the ball hits the ground.

He may cut it at sanfl level but you can't be a player that puts zero contest in once the ball hits the ground at afl level.

I think there are many if us who would not have LJ in our side

Thommo has always had below average disposal which he has more than made up for by getting 40+ touches. He had 2 kicks at half time today which was the least in the entire team, and isn't even being tagged. He has always been a favourite of mine but he was terrible last year and his first 2 games this year have been terrible for an elite mid. Unfortunately think it is time to make the change.

Tex wants to do the right thing for his career another knee injury and it's a long way back. Obviously getting some good advice. What's another month when we have 8 more years of Tex if he gets it right.

Although I agree with SP I think 3 SANFL games is a bit much. 1 or 2 will be plenty.

Johnston is 23 y/o and been on an AFL list for 5 years

It's patently obvious to most supporters he just does not work hard enough, lacks intensity at the contest, in fact most would say he's just plain lazy.

Paul Roos had him perfectly pegged, made it clear to Johnston what was required at AFL level to succeed, he took no heed of that advice. I'd be amazed if he hasn't had that very same feedback from our coaches...He just does not get it.....and I have very grave concerns that he ever will!!! Talent and a good kick only goes so far!!
