Out: McKernan, Mackay, B.Crouch, Podsiadly, Porplyzia and Shaw
In: Jenkins, Lyons, M.Crouch, Laird, Cameron(Sub) and Ellis-Yolman

B: Laird Rutten Brown
HB: Reilly Talia Jaensch
C: Smith Dangerfield Lyons
HF: Grigg Jenkins Wright
F: Betts Johnson Kerridge
R: Jacobs Sloane Thompson
I: M.Crouch Ellis-Yolman Douglas
SUB: Cameron

Given that Sando said that JPod played a role and DMac was one of the eight players who performed I can't see either player being dumped

That's good, isn't it? He'd tear us up as he tears just about all the poor teams to shreds. If anything it improves our chances of winning by several % points.
Would struggle to run out a full game given his knee issues though. I reckon you'd be more likely to get 2012 qualifying final Kurt rather than 2012 prelim final Kurt, which would be a massive plus for us as our defenders could run rings around him.

We had far worse players than David MacKay.

He won't get dropped.

5 players I would drop (or injured)

5) Jason Porplizia
4) smack
3) Sam Shaw
2) J-Pod
1) crouch (injured)

In

5) Charlie Cameron
4) Josh Jenkins
3) Kyle Hartigan
2) Petrenko
1) crouch Jn

If JPod plays again...

He was pathetic, at least the other forward options have the possibility of upside even if they do nothing. JPod, has no upside, he not only doesn't impact the game, he is a liability which puts pressure on his team mates, Why do the Crows feel obligated to play him just because they traded for him? They have traded for players in the past and not played them, so why is Jpod different, is there some clause in his contract saying he has to be played a certain amount of games or something? Wouldn't ****ing suprise with the pack of imbeciles running the club.

What, best on ground for Sydney? I don't want that.

I wish your comment was full of shit, rather than being a potentially accurate reflection of where we are at.

Sando has a responsibility to get us out of this position, we rewarded him with a contract extension, its time he led at the top and makes sure no stone is unturned in winning this weekend.

I hope like anything I'm full of shit too...

I would love to see a young side like this, out with the deadwood.

Betts Osborne Cameron/ Atkins
Grigg Smack Danger (the good one)
Mackay Smith Sloane
Jaensch Talia Laird
Brown Hartigan Shaw

Jacobs Douglas Kedge

Wright Lyons CEY, Sub M Crouch

I dont think JPOD will be dropped because effectively it will mean that after just two games they will be admitting they made a terrible recruiting decision.

Then again it could be worse, look at Sydney the $10M 9 year contracted player is looking like a mistake after just two games too.

So if we can come from behind, and get in front as in both games. Followed by a complete shutdown, with ensuing loss of the game.
Maybe our game plan should be to only get in front in the last 10 seconds. Guaranteeing a win.

Out: Podsiadly, Porplyzia, Crouch, Shaw
In: Jenkins, Petrenko (sub), Lyons, Hartigan

The only way I can see Cameron playing this year is if we're out of finals contention. It's too early to be debuting rookies to an already young side.

No different than the Laird situation. He was good in the SANFL. They gave him a go and he stayed good in AFL.
Although probably a bit soon since real SANFL has not even started. If he's rippin' it up after 3-4 weeks and we need him, why not.

Petrenko would be the safe selection but the bloke has kicked 45 goals in 71 games. He ain't up to it.

Ok he will get to a loose ball under pressure and soccer it into space and then soccer it again and it will go out of bounds on the half forward flank and everyone will clap and say "doesn't Petrenko try hard" but I would rather someone who may actually make something happen in the forward line.

Come on Sando, be bold. What's the worst that can happen? We lose by 10 goals?

I'm not sure he has the tank to play a full game yet, he would make a better sub than porps though since he plays in bursts and can wreak some havoc.

Anyone that thinks that we have had the players to win a flag in the last 7 years is deluded. We had to do everything right and have a heap of luck if we were ever to be a genuine premiership chance. My concern is that based on the performance on the weekend, we are further from a flag than we were 3 years ago. We are at least 3 years from being a genuine contender and we have to start focussing on the long term. JPod may help us to avoid the wooden spoon but who GAF? It would have been better to start this journey 2-3 years ago but injuries in 2011 and 2013 have actually helped us to get games into our younger players. We can't drop everyone this week and although many will not like it, I think we have to keep Jaensch, Shaw and McKernan in the team this week. Their time may well come pretty soon if we stop collecting injuries.

The three players that must go are Podz, Porps and LJ. None of these guys will be anywhere near the AFL in 2 years time.

Out - Crouch (inj), JPod, Porps, LJ

In - Crouch, Laird, Lyons and Jenkins

On Notice

- Truck; I think he is cooked but Hatigan or Siggins have to take his spot, using JJ as a tall defender is not out of the question.
- Reilly; Will also not be around for our next flag, use him as a depth player to cover injuries.
- McKernan; We have to give him 6-8 games in a row and then make a call once and for all.
- Shaw; I personally think he needs half a dozen games and he will be away (or he will be injured).
- Jaensch; Not a backman's arseh*le. I know that Henderson isn't available but why build our defence around Jaenschy. Play him on a wing or half forward or provide free prozac to all supporters.
- Mackay - Nice bloke but..................

I think some people are struggling to see that when they are calling for Pods, LJ, McKernan and Porp's heads to be dropped that they forget that's 4 genuine targets inside forward 50 that we'll be loosing. And only bringing in Jenkins means we go in with a much smaller forward line. We've had trouble kicking a decent score in the past 2 games, and dropping 3 talls will only make matters worse.

LJ and McKernan have to play, the next time they are dropped is the last time they are dropped.

It's not like we have anything better available for Sydney... and if they can't show something in the next four games after that then at least Lynch/Otten/Tex might be available and we can put a line through LJ and/or Smack for good.

Tickets selling well. General Admission sold out. Thought that would be the last section to go.
