Where did ANYONE suggest him going to ground was a problem before this round?
Maybe Elvis did yesterday morning but now everyone who wants him out of the side is jumping on that bandwagon.
He will be in the top 7 of out best and fairest at thus stage of the season.
Dangerfield
Douglas
Thompson
Rutten
Talia
Otten
Jenkins
B&F? no medals for 7th or so when gifted games.
This is nonsense also it's as if you've forgotten half the squad. Smith, Lyons, Kerridge, Sloane, Wright, Vince, Lynch, Jacobs, Laird, Jaensch, VB, Reilly, Crouch, Henderson are all better performers while Ottens is on autoselect while there are barely any worse performed players on the list.
Ottens has never truly suited since Bock left he doesn't have the initiative to move the ball.
His best game was against Carlton and he wasn't in the backlines otherwise it was vs WB which is arguably the weakest forward line in the comp.
Just because noone is calling for him previously people have hardly been excited about him this year and now leading into the Sydney game who is he matching up on?
I don't see space for lack of run, ground contest and tackling efficiency down back vs Sydney.
Smack is not setting the world on fire in his 4 games Otten could be thrown forward and use his strength more effectively in defending and judging the ball drop, anything to keep Dangerfield from being put down there all game again.
Alex
I have repeatedly been a critic of Otto, I also gone as far as saying early in the season that he is book marked to be traded
Blind man Freddy can see the issues with his game.
1. Lacks mobility
2. Tackling technique is the worse on our list
3. Has a history of not staying in a contes and going to ground
Come on now Porplyzia is in the team, couldn't bring down Betty White. And would be too skittish about his shoulder to try.
